Had sewer clog in basement toilet . Called them late afternoon , they scheduled a service call early next day. Half our house toilets drains still worked, so next morning was great. Marty came out earlier than scheduled and was pleasant and knowledgable. When he came in he carefully listened to my description of the problem. He then went right to work and corrected the situation by snaking the sewer section with issue. He then tested everything left everything clean . Great experience.
Charges seemed resonable.

Happy to give Mark Brew 5 stars! We live in Highland and used Mark when we demo'd and renovated our master bath and kitchen this past Fall 2021. This was a major renovation that included removing a dining room partition wall to open up the entire back of our house. We were assigned Tony who was outstanding, very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Below are some of the things he did for us:

- remove, relocate, and rough in multiple supply lines and PVC drains (that
were in walls and ceilings)
- install new gas line for gas stove
- install free standing tub (with floor fixture)
- install vanity fixtures and shower fixture
- install and plumb garbage disposal and reverse osmosis
- install kitchen sink faucets
- plumb water line to refrigerator
- plumb water line to bar refrigerator
- rough in and hook up supply lines and drain to bar sink

Mark himself (and Chris) came by a couple of times to check on the work status, etc. Dealing with the back office staff (Diana, Taylor, and Chris) was also excellent. They were great to work with and very accomodating.

Greatly recommend Mark if you live in the Highland, Fulton, or Clarksville area. His pricing is very fair and the workmanship was outstanding!

We had our sump pump die late on December 23rd, with water starting to collect and seep up into the basement. Brew was extremely responsive on Christmas Eve, got someone to us, and replaced the pump at a very reasonable price -- no gouging because of emergency on a holiday! The service was very professional and helpful. I'll be using Brew for any future plumbing needs.

Had a great experience calling, scheduling and getting my home's hot water boiler serviced and getting the expansion tank drained. Scheduling was efficient, plumber was scheduled next day, then that morning available earlier than scheduled and coordinated by their scheduler. Plumber was very experienced and knowledgeable. Was familiar with my boiler setup and how to efficiently and effectively drain the expansion tank, including discussing how to properly maintain the boiler and its expansion tank. Was great to be able to 'geek out' and discuss the nuances of plumbing with an obvious enthusiast. Highly recommended.

Mark Brew Plumbing is a bad company. Their work did not pass inspection, and you end up hiring other plumbers to fix the problems they create. I would give a zero star, if this was an option. Do Not Use Mark Brew!

I have used the services of Mark Brew Plbg & Htg on 2 occasions. Once to replace a deep well submersible pump (400 foot depth) and recently to replace a sump pump. And each time, the technicians were cordial, professional and informative. The latter endeavor was not straightforward because the water heater partially obscured the sump cover. I thought that the water heater would have to be moved and at a costly expense and placed in an inconvenient location. But the plumber who was dispatched (Mike) came up with a brilliant solution and in just over an hour, the task was finished. Fantastic service at a fair price!!! - John J.

I used them a few times over the last 9 years. The price is a little more expensive but Mark and his plumbers had been quite nice and generally did a good job.

My recent experience has been really bad.

Now seems someone else is running the office, things are lagging. Had water heater breakdown recently, twice the guy promised to do some look up for ordering the appliance or a part, twice he failed to do it. Totally cost me 4 days! Once was for a whole appliance itself, cost me a day. When the plumber came on Friday the heater somehow started working and he recommended we at least replace a part, he called back to the office and I was told they will call me back by end of the day to finalize, never happened. The heater stopped working later the day. Called their emergency number during the weekend and was told they already ordered the part, a little bit odd as they never gave me a quote. Called back on Monday and the guy told me he never did it, with no apology! I ended up to go with BGE home to get the whole unit replaced next day, actually for lower price. and according to bge, the part that Brew's plumber recommended to replace would be a wrong part and won't fix the problem. Still I was charged for $180 for their plumber visit on Friday.

Updated review from my previous one. I had success with them the first time, not so much the second time. I had to call multiple times to schedule an appointment, no one ever attempted to call me back. The technician who came out could not resolve the issue I was having. Lack of hot water pressure and lack of hot water temperature coming out of the kitchen sink. He suggested I need an all new faucet set, which would of put me back hundreds. I got another plumber out here for a second opinion and he had the issue resolved in 20 minutes. At least he was on time again.

I need a washer/dryer moved. I called on a Wednesday to get a quote. Mark came out on Friday to look. He said he'd get a quote to me that day or Monday at the latest. That was two weeks ago and I never heard anything - no call, no e-mail, no letter - nothing. A complete waste of time.
