This is the third time using Mario's Drain Control and once again I'm completely satisfied with the results. The end of a toilet cleaner broke off while cleaning and was flushed down the toilet. We called a local Novato plumber who came and fished out the plastic part from the toilet trap. Apparently the foam part of the cleaner went farther down line and created a blockage. The first plumber hinted this could happen. Mario's responded the following day within 50 minutes of my call. Using a clean out on the side of the house he snaked 110' into my system, clearing the clog. Werner, the technician also flushed the line with water. I am very happy with their quick response, Werner was professional and very careful on my property, he was pleasant and had excellent technical skills. These calls are expensive, but I felt the cost reasonable for the amount of effort and the fact that they have the tools needed for the job. Biggest part I trust the integrity of the business.

Late Saturday afternoon our drain clogged and none of the usual tricks worked. The kitchen was a mess because the dishwasher backed up into the sink. After leaving several increasingly desperate voicemail messages, a real person answered when we called Mario's. About a half hour later Werner showed up and went right to work. Less than an hour later the drain line - which was badly clogged about 30 feet down from the sink - is now running freely. We're back in business! Very friendly, fast, efficient, and professional.

It's Saturday and laundry drain water is coming up from my shower drain. I don't think it's supposed to work like that. I'm handy but I know when I'm out of my depth. I call Mario and he indicates he'll be here between noon and 1pm the SAME day. Color me impressed. He spent the time to diagnose the various clean outs and not finding one for the shower / laundry drain he lugs the snake on the roof and promptly uses the vent to clear the correct line restoring shower/laundry draining and bringing balance to the force. Same day, efficient, and affordable service from a guy who obviously cares about his clientele. Thanks Mario - you're my guy from here on out!

This is a long overdue review. Today was the third day Mario has saved the day with our blocked septic pipes. Each time, he has responded and been to our house within an hour, whether it is a weekend or at 8pm on a weekday. His prices are very reasonable and he's great to communicate with! Mario is forever our go-to plumber.

Very happy with Mario's services! Helped clear out a blockage in our sewer line very efficiently. Plumbers aren't cheap in Marin, but I found his pricing to be fair compared to others I've used. Will use him again if needed.

I started learning how to snake clogged drains in middle school helping my dad manage rental property, so when my storm drain was backing up during the ""atmospheric river"", I knew I could clear it myself. After pulling out a bunch of roots with my snake, I sensed that victory was near, but no. After a couple of hours of fighting it (and busting the blade off my snake), I finally accepted defeat and called in the big guns. The first drain guy who examined it decided that he wasn't likely to do much better (I appreciated his honesty) and referred me to Mario. Solid advice! Mario and his brother Leo came over the next day to assess the situation and returned the following day to do the work. I wish I called them sooner. They tried snaking the pipe but soon determined that the problem was bigger than roots and started digging. They quickly discovered that a previous owner had crushed the pipe when pouring concrete for a fence post. They proceeded to dig out this old concrete block and then replaced the damaged pipe. The whole thing took under three hours. Massive props to Mario and Leo. Reasonably priced, responsive, friendly, and hard-working - Couldn't ask for more!

I found our cleanout mushroom vent in the front yard over-flowing at 3 pm. The other local vendor I use did not answer, so I found good yelp reviews for Mario, the owner. I called him, and then texted with address details. He promised to come in 45 minutes and did. He cleared the difficult tree roots in our old four foot clay pipes out at 20 feet, and had to clear again to flush well. He continued out to the sidewalk and pushed through some kind of a tin or metal half flap that another vendor had taken a picture of but did not go through. He quoted $200 on the phone but did extra work for $50 more, especially fitting a larger cleanout collar that I requested. Hard worker, thorough, friendly. Been here 20 or so years. Would use again, the first one I would call.
