I have been ignoring a slow leak in our kitchen ceiling for a couple of weeks.....slow drip and I don't know what is causing it. Sunday night it drips even more- I call Marines Plumbing and in an hour I have an appointment the following morning - they showed up on time and it was not an easy fix but Dan fixed the leak within the hour. I appreciate great service and willing to pay a bit more if I know the job will be taken care of with such efficiency. I will definitely call them in the future with any other issues. Thank you!!

This review is WAY OVERDUE because I had my services done back in August but it's worth writing.
I contacted Marines Plumbing through Yelp and they were very quick to reply. The office called me to set up an appointment that worked for my schedule.
Jonathan Drew was my technician, he was very professional and courteous as well as honest and accurate. He called me before he arrived to let me know when he would be there and arrived on time. He gave me his observations and the information I needed to make a decision regarding a water heater for my home. He did great work and was very organized and kept my house mess free.
I ended up contacting Marines Plumbing again about 2 weeks later to have a toilet replaced. Drew came out again and replaced the toilet quickly and there was no mess left for me.
I'm very impressed and Marines Plumbing will be my first contact for any plumbing needs in the future.

The main waste line for my townhouse was clogged (realized this when I found water in my utility room at 10:00 p.m.). I called Marines at 7:00 a.m. the next morning. They scheduled me for an appointment at 2:00 that same afternoon. However, at 11:30, Wayne called and said that he could be at my house by noon. (Arriving early is never a bad thing when you have a plumbing issue!) He arrived promptly at noon and went through a few troubleshooting steps to verify his initial assessment. It was decided that the drain would need to be snaked to remove the drain. Problem is that I didn't have a good access point into the drain, so it was initially thought that they would need to remove one of the toilets to get access. However, a few minutes later, Wayne suggested an alternate idea, which was to create a permanent access point (long story short...won't bore you with the details). He then removed the clog successfully and tested to make sure everything was working well.

So not only did he fix the immediate problem, but now I also have a new access point, should issues ever arise again! And it only cost me a few dollars more. Well worth it. Wayne was super friendly, efficient and interested in providing me the best short and long term solution. Truly a great experience...which is not what you would typically expect when encountering an issue like this. Really appreciate them turning a negative experience (clogged drain) into a great experience with a quick fix and great customer service!

I had an emergency 'situation' during Thanksgiving week, in a night period, with sewage backing up from the main line into my basement.

It was a very 'shitty situation'.

I was calling multiple plumbers, without success of someone being available. I called Marines as I was going down the proverbial list of plumbers. They also had no one available, but as I explained my situation, Raymond (the owner), called me back and he agreed to personally come and help with the problem.

He arrived, cleared the blockage, which unfortunately was no easy task and required additional inputs into the line to be cut. Within a couple hours he had the pipe cleared and functional.

To be clear, the work was not cheap (night time, scale of work, etc.) and I am sure I could have gotten the work done for less; however, what I could not get (obviously) was the responsiveness and quality on short demand. It stung, since it was over the original estimate, but I was more than happy to pay the cost and was pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness and care. In fact, I have been planning to use Marines for some other work I want to have done as a result.

Just when I had practically forgotten about everything, I received an envelope in the mail. Raymond sent me a partial refund. Either he decided that I had overpaid or that he had overcharged me and took it upon himself to return it. I would have never known or realized! With that final act, I consider myself a future Marines Plumbing customer, should the need ever arise. Quality, integrity and honesty. These are traits that are hard to find in a vendor, supplier or service provider.

I would recommend Marines Plumbing to anyone in a plumbing emergency.

This is actually my first Yelp review, but I had such an excellent experience with Marines Plumbing today and felt I had to post since I first found them on yelp! Don came by on time and he really knew his stuff. He quickly repaired my bathroom sink drain pipe walking me through the process (and the pricing) the whole time. He explained a lot of plumbing terms to me too, which was extremely helpful. He gave me a lot of comfort throughout the process and even helped explain a few other plumbing questions I had as well. Really a five star experience! Thank you!

This had been a very difficult week for us- we were in the midst of unrelated home repairs / updates when we noticed that our water heater was leaking into the carpet in our living room. Dealing with contractors can often add to the stress (and of course, bills!), but I can without a doubt tell you- Marines Plumbing helped alleviate that stress! Terry, who I highly recommend, came right out when we first called, thoroughly explained the diagnosis, as well as any caveats and possible avenues where the diagnosis could be wrong- we had a full understanding of the price and the benefits/drawbacks of each ""add on"" we could select. After working with the township to have the water turned off to our building, Marines Plumbing dispatch worked very hard to move their schedule around to get him right back out, even though they were fully booked- something we definitely appreciated so we didn't have to leave our neighbors without water for too long! Terry even came back the third and following day to check his work and ensure everything was running smoothly / no leaks / etc.. The work was flawless and the price is extremely competitive. Very thoughtful company and technician- I would absolutely use again (though let's hope we don't have to anytime soon!!!).

Words can't describe my appreciation for Ray. It was a holiday weekend and we had a one week old at home when our hot water heater went out. He was incredibly responsive and when he just couldn't swing getting one of his guys out to me (not for a lack of trying!) he personally reached out to another plumbing company and got someone who was available asap. He literally gave business away to better serve the customer. May seem like a little thing, but that type of service is the kind that will make me a customer for life. Highly recommend!!

I had a plumbing back up and overflow in my basement this morning at 0600. Called Marines plumbing around 0700. They said they'd get back to me within an hour to tell me when they could have someone out to my house. Within 25 minutes I was called back and was told that Wayne would be at my house between 10:00am - 2:00pm and that he would call in advance to let me know he was on his way. At about 9:50 Wayne called and told me he was on his way. He got there by about 1010. He was polite, professional and knew what he was doing. He quoted me an estimate for the repair and then went to work. Within 90 minutes the job was done and at the estimated price minus the military discount. COMPLETE SUCCESS.
So in summary... they were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. They called back when they said they would or earlier. They successfully fixed my clogged drains in a timely manner. They did the work with a reasonable estimate upfront and met that price upon completion. They have a military discount.
Well done guys. You've earned a loyal customer!

We used Marines Plumbing to replace a hot water heater last week. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the service they provided! The technician did an excellent job and he was very helpful and professional. The estimate was several hundred dollars lower then what I expected to pay. I highly recommend Marines Plumbing and will continue using them when the need arises.
