I called Marines Plumbing after a basement waterproofing company told me (via email) that I needed a plumber since they believed a moisture issue in my basement was due to a faulty sump pump rather than a crack in the foundation. I found Marines Plumbing online and was immediately happy with the service I received. The young woman who answered the phone (I'm sorry I can't remember her name!) was very personable and patient as we navigated my complicated work schedule. MP was able to come out for a free estimate on a Saturday, which was very convenient, and they sent me a photo of the technician before his arrival, which was a nice touch. Jason L. arrived on time and was extremely courteous and helpful. He tested my sump pump and found no issues other than a missing weep hole in the discharge pipe, which he installed FREE of charge. I was disappointed that the issue in my basement wasn't plumbing related since that would probably have been cheaper than a cracked foundation, but I am thrilled to have found a great plumber to use in the future. I will only call Marines Plumbing going forward and hope they take technician requests because I'd prefer to have Jason come out for any future plumbing needs. Thanks, MP!

I had a plumber from another company tell me the repair I needed would cost me at least $1800 and involved breaking into shower tile - which would also need to be repaired. With that cost, I felt I should get a second opinion. Daniel from Marines Plumbing came within 1 day, was friendly and helpful, and helped us fix the problem for far less from both a cost and repair perspective. He explained to me what he was doing at every step of the way. Will for sure be using Marines Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs!

Work Requested:
(1) Remove two pedestal sinks and install two larger wall hung pedestal sinks that will require relocating water supply and sink drains.
Result: Tech would have to defer to the renovation team for estimate. Renovation team would contact me within 24hrs.
(2) Repair front outdoor faucet (leaking). Interested in replacing faucet with freeze proof faucet.
Result: April 5 - Tech explained difference between freeze proof (approx. $650) vs regular (approx. $350) faucet repair. Both jobs would require accessing water line from inside requiring cutting into drywall. I had researched freeze proof faucets on line. Viewed many youtube videos including TOH. Decided on freeze proof. Tech said that he would complete the faucet repair but would have to add the drywall repair to the renovation project. After tech completed work and departed I examined work and it was not what I was expecting. While the outside faucet was well done, nothing inside the wall was updated to example viewed online.
April 9 - Emailed Marines Plumbing with my concerns that work completed amounted to a basic ($350) faucet repair.
April 12 - Marines Plumbing service mgr called to discuss. I explained my reasoning and stated that I was being charged for work not completed. And I had yet to be contacted by renovation team to discuss bathroom work and drywall repair. Mgr asked if I wanted to schedule the renovation team. I responded that not until faucet repair job was resolved.
Marines Plumbing service mgr replied ""Oh is that how you want to be ! I will be get bact to you. CLINK!!
April 19 - No further contact.
While the work completed (outside faucet) by the tech was very satisfactory; the customer service by Marines Plumbing was far from what I expected.
Unfortunately I cannot recommend Marines Plumbing at this time.

Company is bad at setting up appointments. Was given a 12-4 appointment window, which I asked for a more specific time of 1430 (or later). They told me this would be annotated, so I assumed I'd be okay. Technician showed up at 12, and now I'm off work for no reason. I'll go with a company that can be better with scheduling.

Easy business! Marines Plumbing executed as expected. Service rep did a phenomenal job representing the company.

I had my sump pump replaced and it was smooth as could be. Even after finding issues within the crock of the system, the service rep effectively addressed the issue and continued on task to complete the
Job.

I appreciated that the same rep that did the estimate came back to do the job. I'll definitely contact Marines Plumbing if (when) I have a plumbing need.

I contacted Marines Plumbing because my dishwasher wasn't filling with water. They got back to right away ( I contacted them after hours) and scheduled my appointment the next day. Patrick came to fix my dishwasher. He was great, very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would definitely contact them again and recommend them to friends/family. Semper Fi!
