Recommended Customer Reviews

I called Marine Plumbing due to the high yelp rating and the fact that their help page says they service Bosch. Plus, I like to support America's military men and women when possible. I can't speak to Nick's plumbing abilities but his customer service is severely lacking. I called to see if he is able to do a routine service on a Bosch tankless water heater and he said no. As a courtesy, I told him that his yelp account specifically said he does service Bosch. Instead of thanking me for letting him know the information was incorrect or saying he just did need the business right now, he said """"What, you think I'm making this up!?"""" He went into a short rant about a tool that is needed for the job that he didn't have readily available. After he finished his unnecessary response, I explained I was just letting him know what the site said for his benefit. I could hear the annoyance when he scoffed and said """"yea, okay, thanks dear"""" and hung up on me. Maybe he was just having a bad day--we are all human--but this is not the standard of customer service I expect. Moral of the story: even if he did have the tool for my job, I'd look elsewhere. Response to Nick's comment You were the first company I called so no runaround here. As far as the conversation being finished, I guess your dial tone cut off the middle of my sentence. I'm not throwing stones, i just recapped my experience with you. I don't doubt your technical abilities, but you don't have to be rude and you don't have to start a conversation like it's an argument. I called the company you recommended and they don't service in this area. All is well here though, and I hope things get better your way because nobody needs you to talk down to them.

The whole team at Marine Plumbing Service are fantastic! Our water heater died so we decided to get a tankless heater, not really knowing what the process would be like. Nick and Tony made time for our house, even with a full schedule already on their plates. They are so knowledgeable, and really just nice, funny guys. We will be using them for future projects, and recommending them to our friends!

I highly recommend Marine Plumbing, who recently repaired my Noritz tankless water heater. Tony (and Najee) quickly diagnosed and resolved my problem that two other plumbers could not. Tony is professional, knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and was extremely patient in addressing my concerns and answering questions. He is also honest and trustworthy, qualities that are difficult to find in the plumbing industry. I will definitely call Marine Plumbing again when I have a plumbing issue and have already recommended them to a friend!

My second time dealing with Marines Plumbing. The plumbers are pleasant and punctual. They're also very willing to explain little extras about what they're doing and why and to give the customer helpful pointers. Most of all I appreciate the ease of scheduling an appointment. When I needed a plumber for an emergency on the weekend, they were the only ones I could get to come out quick. I had to pay a little extra, but since it was after hours, it seemed reasonable. I plan to use them again in the future for my plumbing needs.

The best. Nick, Tony and team replaced two hot water heaters that were leaking. They responded to the call during a holiday weekend within hours and the replaced the heaters and significantly cleaned up the surrounding piping. I am very particular about high quality workmanship and this team far exceeded my expectations. Would use again and highly recommend.

What started off as a great experience with Tony from Marine Plumbing ended in a very bad way once Nick got involved. Tony came out to our house on a Friday afternoon to help shut off a leaking water line to our refrigerator. This was a temporary fix as Tony told us we were going to need a new pressure valve the following week. Knowing that he was going to have to return the following week to replace the water valve, Tony did not charge us for the Friday visit. He did quote us for the valve replacement to be done the next week. Tony came out on time the following Tuesday to replace the water valve and, long story short, a $475 quote turned into a $1950.00 job. Not only that, the $1950 worth of work was done WITHOUT PRIOR ESTIMATE OR APPROVAL by us. We only received a quote after the work was all completed, followed immediately by an invoice, despite our many calls to Tony to ask what was going on and how much his recommendations were going to cost. It was like taking our car to get an oil change and picking it up hours later only to find that the repair shop replaced the transmission. You could imagine our surprise when we received the $1950 invoice!! My husband called to discuss our invoice with Tony who immediately said to talk to Nick. Nick was absolutely RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL! Despite doing the work without our approval, Nick said """"the only thing we should be doing it thanking him."""" In the end, Nick took $250 off the bill but it doesn't change our opinion that you don't do the work without the customer's prior approval and you don't talk to customers the way Nick did. You have been warned!!

We had a minor leak in the ceiling of the laundry room so we Yelped to hopefully locate someone close by and decided on Marine Plumbing for their location and reviews. Within 20 minutes Tony was at our door and he was very friendly, professional and informative. Not only did he fix our leak (and told us to call anytime if we had any trouble) but he also helped my husband figure out two other separate issues we had questions about. We told him about a water filter problem we had at the condo we were vacating and he told us exactly what to do (he went to his truck to see if he had the part we needed to give to us but didn't have it) and he also offered my husband some assistance on figuring out a dryer issue. Service was stellar - and then he topped it with offering us $25 off our bill, which was very fair. Been a while since I had service like this!

I don't understand all the high ratings for this plumber. I asked for a quote from him and he came out. He wanted to do the work but I told him all I wanted was a quote. He told me that he didn't drive all that way to give me a quote. He was very upset when I asked him to leave. I mean very upset to the point of yelling.

These guys are awesome. I called after hours with a single woman sob story: my pipe busted in the garage and all my stuff was getting wet. Marine Plumbing's main guy was out of pocket, but he called me back and told me how to stem the flow until he could get there. He showed up, kicked butt, replaced the whole length of pipe, and told me exactly what had to be done to prevent future problems. Being military myself, they really took care of me. Highly recommend them!

After our tankless water heater was giving us some issues, I called Marine Plumbing. They helped me troubleshoot over the phone before coming out. They gave me advice to work with Atlanta Gas first, since that was usually the issue for the problems we were experiencing. After taking their advice, Marine came out, serviced the tankless heater, which was originally installed by another company in a super-wonky way, fixed it, and it has worked PERFECTLY since then. They were extremely responsive and professional. This has to be the most professional service of any kind we've received. Thank you Marine Plumbing!
