They impressed me with their scheduling (calling to confirm/ remind about my appointment), showing up on time to perform a complicated job. They charged exactly what was quoted (rare for this type of work)! I will be working with them again. I'm extremely satisfied with them.

This review is really for Jimmy, the gentleman from roto-rooter Novato that came to fix our issue. He has a great style and demeanor, is very competent, knowledgeable and professional! I was so impressed that he took the time to answer my (probably dumb-sounding) questions and to ensure that everything was all set before he left. He went above and beyond what he needed to and left me feeling great about him, the company and the guarantee of his work! Last time I hired a plumber (a private one locally), I was not so impressed and it must be that they never finished the job properly which is why a small issue crept up again...five stars for Jimmy's customer service, thoughtfulness and thoroughness!!

Left us hanging with two clogged toilets. Promised a 2 hour service window but never showed or called an hour after the appointment time with an ETA update. I called their answering service 3 or 4 times but couldn't get any sort of definitive answer as to when they might show. I never got to speak with the plumber. It was getting late so I canceled the service call.

They may be great plumbers but their customer service needs work. There are plenty of alternatives out there.

Had a great visit from Marin Roto-Rooter. Called and had a technician at my home within the hour. Great customer service and very professional, very knowledgeable too! Thank you Mike for all your help, you even taught me a thing or two.

I had a back flow issue with my laundry drain. Had it fixed in a half hour, and even replaced the p-trap at my request. Looks great, holding up well!

This organization ROCKED a very complex job. They worked brilliantly with the Ross Valley Sanitary District in meeting the districts onerous requirements, while helping to minimize costs for me. Adam is an absolute expert regarding troubleshooting sewage laterals, including testing and repair issues... he's intelligent, an excellent communicator and great to work with. 5+ stars to Roto Rooter!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I called about 9:45 am and was told that Rob was just finishing up on a job and would be at my home between 10 and noon. He arrived, was most courteous, came in, asked if ""they"" usually went up on the roof to clean the drain. I said that that was usual. He checked the drain from the roof, came down, said that the drain was clear and it would then be in the trap. He brought in his equipment, went right to work, nicely cautioned me about what I was putting down my garbage disposal, cleaned up neatly, and left. If having a clogged drain can be considered a pleasant experience, it can....if your technician is as courteous and competent as Rob, not to mention speedy. Now, I am off to all the errands I had planned for today which I thought I would have to abandon as I waited for help. Great service, great price, great company!!

The Marin Roto-Rooter Team is the best! We had a toilet overflow in the late evening on this labor day weekend and they arrived promptly, fixed the problem and even followed up the next day to make sure everything was working properly. What can I say? Adam Gallagher is the man! We had a fairly complex and risky pipe excavation that we were required to do by the county. The problem was that the pipe went through our easement on our neighbors lot. And our neighbor misunderstood his legal obligations about the easement and caused one heck of a temper tantrum.

Adam was always the calm, cool professional and handled the unfortunate abuse and pressure from our neighbor during the process. With the town, arborists, and crazy neighbor watching, he went about his work, and successfully installed a new line near the roots of a redwood tree.

Adam is as good of a technical plumber as he is a solid professional. He didn't have to stay on the job because of obnoxious neighbors, but he did. And he saved the day!
