Super fast to respond to a quote, offered to come out that day actually or the next and were upfront with pricing. I'm blanking on his name now, maybe Mike or Mark, but he was polite, knowledgeable and fast in fixing an issue we had with our GE SmartWater system. He noticed whoever installed before was using a stainless steel pipe and some sort of weird converter attachment and quickly changed, also offered some tips on maintaining and suggested where to find some new faucets that can be self-installed. Also, he checked our water heater as well, mentioned it was quite old but that it's worth letting it run until it;s out of life, since they're expensive to replace.

There are a lot of great plumbers serving the north bay, but I'll be coming back to Marin H2O for sure.

We had a plumbing emergency and Marin H2O had a gentleman out here within two hours! He was very kind and absolutely knew what he was doing. Even had the energy to crack a few jokes while working They charge $165 an hour which is the best rate I've come across so far. The ladies working in the office were very polite and helpful too. All around great experience. I definitely recommend Marin H2O.

Showed up right at the time they said they would, if not earlier. Mike, the plumber, did a great job. Changed out a garbage disposal for us - only 2 years old - but a different plumbing company apparently didn't seal it correctly. Wore a mask.....couldn't ask for a better company.

The tech showed up on time, masked and knowledgeable. Took a few tries with his power snake (saving me embarrassment - we did need the big guns!) and took the time to locate my clean out trap to confirm there was no cause for concern that it was full.
Left the place dry, clean and drained!

We had a major water/sewage in house crisis. I called Marin H20, which is my preferred plumbing business. I called on a Sunday, expecting to get a message machine. Rick (owner) actually answered the phone! He tried to schedule us for that day but unfortunately all his crew were out helping with other problems. That's ok, we managed fine. The next day Ken came out, listened to my description of the problem, looked at certain pipes and vents (I don't have plumbing vocabulary yet) and knew exactly what to do to fix the problem. Out came the huge ""snake machine"" and invasive roots were cleared from the pipes. It took longer to unload and load the equipment than it did to fix the problem! Amazing. He asked me to run the water for everything affected (2 toilets, 2 showers, 2 sinks which days before I had spent 4 hrs decontaminating with bleach, using the plunger to help get ""the stuff"" through the pipes. It was worse than you might imagine!) EVERYTHING WAS WORKING BEAUTIFULLY! He really knows what he is doing. He worked fast, efficiently, did a fabulous job. In fact, anyone who has been here to help us with water/plumbing problems from Marin H20 has been fabulous. Thank you so much! We are grateful for your help! I could not be happier with Marin H2O. They showed up when they said they would and really put the time in to repair my broken toilet. It had not been working satisfactorily for years. I had called previously another company who had first done half the job and then were unable to make the time to come back. This was not the case with H2O. They showed up and made this commode work better than it had for the last 23 years that I have rented this space.
They then went to my parents house, repaired a fairly complicated sink issue and fixed another issue that wasn't even on their books that a previous plumber had not installed properly. The technician who did this work, Kevin, seems to be a perfectionist, and it shows in his high quality of work.
I don't see myself ever hiring a different company than Marin H2O. Thank you for the great work.

Update - 18 months after the sewer work, Ken helped me mark out the sewer and water lines for my retaining wall. Extra effort very much appreciated Ken!

Best plumbing experience ever! The tech was at a nearby job and within 20 minutes after my call the truck was outside. I herded my dogs into a room and the tech said it wasn't necessary - and the dogs really liked him! Points!
The work was basic - the hot water faucet wouldn't turn off so I'd had to turn the water to the house off. He explained why there weren't shut off valves under the sink, explained that the faucet was old but worth saving. And he happened to have the slightly unusual faucet valves in his truck!
After replacing both valve stems, while he was testing the water flow to make sure everything was working, I noticed him wiping the sink clean and leaving it better than he found it. Conscientious and Competent!

I used to be a handyman and I know things can easily get chaotic with plumbing. Marin H2O has my respect, and no doubt if something else comes up they'll be the ones I call. I'm lucky the 3 other plumbing companies I called first were too busy. Marin H2O is in my Address Book now.

Lanie (Alana) office manager is the best.

They do pretty much everything from minor repair jobs to big underground project. Been working with them for the better part of a decade.
