Everything started out fine. I need a new water heater. They explained how great the tankless was the way to go and the new energy star gets a rebate, so even tho' I was paying $4200 for the water heater and installation, the rebate brought this down $800 maybe more. I agreed. First read flag...they asked for more than half for the down payment, even tho' their paperwork said $1000 or 10% whichever was less....should have been $420. Anyway, we proceeded and that afternoon, we had a water heater, but no receipt or invoice. There was still some clean up work including some new electrical. All of that still went as planned everything was completed by Monday (3 days). Then I asked for the receipt. They didn't have it. I had to get it from the manager. I called the manager, they sent me a blank invoice. I called back and said I needed an actual receipt with date of purchase. They said they'd have to get back to me. Today, I received and email for the entire purchase. No details about the purchase, just the overall costs and the parts. I go to the SOCALGAS fill out the rebate and the model they installed doesn't qualify. It was the selling point. Needless to say, I will not be recommending or using them again, my guess is they had this old model lying around and decided to make a big profit on me. I was bait and switched and this most definitely is not an energy star rated product.

Marc's Plumbing put cheaper products in than promised. They take advantage of people.

I definitely recommend everyone that needs a plumber to use these guys . I have personally used for them for my home and business for a little over 2 years now . All the staff is professional and friendly from plumbers all the way to the receptionist and managers . They do nothing but great work and are very fair in pricing . They are fast in getting you estimates from small jobs to big jobs . Give them a call when ever you're in need of plumber .

Wow! STAY AWAY IF YOU DON'T WANT TO HAVE A MISERABLE EXPERIENCE! For years we used Marc for little things that sometimes our handyman could do, but when it came to needing a re-pipe, yeah we asked them without checking around (our number one mistake) and as it turns out they were expensive and had a nice ""song and dance"" about the quality of their work, so because we knew them for so long, we agreed to have them do the entire re-piping of our house. What a disaster - they didn't check before driving large nails all the way through from the outside so that they stick out on the inside of the house, and and their ""fancy"" talk ended when I asked if they were going to be fixed! It turns out that the quote they gave us which initially included ""everything"" and the fixing of all the walls like new and removing all the broken wall material, WASN'T included. After they were finished they explained that they are the plumbers not the wall repair. Duh! But then, I ask, why did they allude to the fact that their ""higher than other companies"" prices included this and their clean up. Now its months later, and I've asked, and asked and even sent pictures to them about the load of crud they left on the side of our house. But those clever guys, moved it to the far side of our A/C unit so it wasn't easily seen...but it's there and its filth! But wait...there's more...!!! They left open a vent on the side of our house and when it rained, the water came inside and created mold and the peeling of the paint on the inside where it ran down the wall! I sent pictures along with the stuff on the side of the house, they totally ignore my request to remove it. NOW HERE'S THE BEST PART! (HA!!!) After they finished everything (oh...and sold us a fancy new water heater, that other companies GIVE FREE when you spend this much on a complete re piping!) we STILL HAVE A LEAK!!!!!!!!!
OK, so I called them...and called some more. They were VERY reluctant to come back. Made all kinds of excuses. When I finally did get them here, the owner had his arms crossed in front of him (very defensively) when I showed him that the new wood floor I had just re-installed after the re-piping was complete, had now buckled and warped and was water stained. I nicely said...""Can you please tell me what you think may be the cause of this mess with a new floor showing water even after your recommended total re-piping ?"" his answer was ""I don't know. Our work is done."" I replied, ""You're the plumber, this is a water leak - still a water leak...please help me. My second new wood floor is ruined and I need to know where the leak is coming from."" With his arms still crossed, he was backing up and repeating ""Get someone to find out. Our work is done."" I couldn't believe my ears and pleaded ""Please...this is your line of work - you just replaced our pipes, can't you even make a suggestion as to how I can find out what the problem is?"" He said ""Our work is done. I don't know."" And he walked out.
I hired another plumber who tried to figure it all out, and before he was going to open the entire back wall of our house to find out where the manifold is, he tried to call this great guy Marc. Wow...He called 3 times. He asked if he could speak with someone regarding the job he was on because they had done the re-pipe and he just had some questions that could help him find out where this leak was coming from. They refused completely to communicate! They told him flat out that they wouldn't have anything at all to do with us and REFUSED TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS that could help us. Nice folks, huh?!
I'm still left with their garbage that they refused to move, and outside the side door near the 2nd floor that was opened by Marc where the water came in, had to be closed by someone else, and I had to spend another $1500 AFTER MARC'S PLUMBING to find out about the leak.
The company I used was patient and very interested in helping me. He was reasonably priced and wasn't too proud to bring in another company to trace the pipes and use air, etc inside the pipes to help determine the problem. This is the guy I SHOULD have used in the first place! Too bad I didn't know of him. This company is Derk's Plumbing and their motto is""Done right the first time, every time"". This guy is in Eagle Rock and I'm in West LA and he traveled to me.
Again, I say stay away from Marc's unless you like a mess left over at the end, a price quote that changes once you start the job and someone that doesn't even give you the time of day if you have a problem with your pipes after you pay them for an expensive re-pipe!

We used this company multiple times from a recommendation. Great & Fast Service with fair prices. I would recommend this company.

Joel arrived at approximately 6:30 pm to fix an outside water spigot leaking by the pvc spiral corkscrew grooves. He said i needed to replace pvc with copper pipes which would require digging. To cap the leaking at the time, he need to go to Home Depot and buy a capping object. He estimated a cost of $125 an hour. He left to buy the capping object at 6:45 pm and returned approximately 7:45 pm, an hour later. He shut off the water to the 10 units complex. He capped the pvc pipe with the object he purchase and did not work. He stated ""i should have known, its made in china."" He then went to his van to obtain a compression couplin which he already had since the beginning. The couplin did stop the leak. He was done at approximately 8:00pm and charged me $245. Really...i talked to his supervisor Charley who wasn't helpful and said that is why he doesn't like dealing with condominium and HOA stuff.

Shame on this company. I was more than patient trying to get this situation resolved, they have done nothing but treat me with disrespect. I gave them a check made out for more than the job cost (check came from a realtor after buying new place, a common situation) and they promised prompt reimbursement. Over 6 weeks of excuse after excuse for why they haven't mailed it. Finally, they say it was mailed... and that someone else with my last name came in and requested the first name be changed.
The brilliant office manager or whatever her title is apparently went ahead with this request. Why would she do that after speaking to me a dozen times - why would I come in and ask for the 1st name to be changed? Did she check ID or call me to see? Bother to notice the phone #'s were different? She refuses to give me any information so that I can even file a police report against this person who supposedly came in with a check made out to me. On top of it, I told her I was 8 months pregnant, she apparently didn't notice the person who came in wasn't.
They promised resolution. Instead, they refuse to give me my money back, refuse to cooperate so I can file a police report against this person - if it's even true. They won't reimburse an 8.5 month pregnant woman based on their own ridiculously, dumb mistake.
Lastly, they gave me a fudged work order with the wrong amount for the job to cover themselves. Fraudulent business practice left and right. Customer beware...

We needed our kitchen faucet & garbage disposal installed & called Marc's plumbing. We called @10 am & they said they would send someone between 1-2. Kimmy showed up around 12. He was great & did a great job. Reasonable price & got his work done. Would recommend it. Way better than Mike's plumbing.

This company had completed the repiping of my house within the time frame that they promised. The quality of the workmanship meet and exceed my expectation. Homeowner from city of Diamond Bar, CA
