Stay away, absolutely sneaky crooks. So in a nutshell. So I have a place in Bayside in Fenwick/Selbyville. I had renters in place who called and said AC went out. Called Marc Anthony and they were gracious enough to come out in about 2hrs of my call to diagnose the problem. Few minutes later, I got a call from the tech, Jordan, saying my refrigerant was empty and due to it being empty it burned up my compressor. New compressor would be $2200 and they would have to order one in. New unit would be $2700-$3500 not counting labor. Being in a tough spot, i told them to go ahead with the fix. Didn't seem right so I called a friend in the business and he said it was impossible with the safety features built in place to burn up the compressor. I called back and cancelled the new job and called for a second opinion. Second company came out 2 days later, Eastern Air, when I was available to make the drive down and they told me the capacitor was bad. A fix for $62!!! Asked them how much refrigerant I had, they told me it was practically FULL! So Marc Anthony was trying to pull a fast one knowing I had renters in place and tried to get me to probably spend about 5k or more for a new unit when it was a simple $62 fix. If your fix comes out to be a major fix or a really expensive one, MAKE SURE YOU GET A SECOND OPINION!!!! Don't just hand over your money to these shysters!
