Living in apartments ain't easy due the our plumbing always getting clogged mostly the sinks but we decided to give Marathon plumbing a try and let me tell you! Oscar is your go to guy, very professional and kind man, explains everything to were I can understand what the problem is and how it will get fixed! We will definitely use him again if needed!!! Be VERY AWARE Oscar will claim he is licensed but it NOT. He has a partner with a license who is unaware of ALL his jobs. He claims to works under that license yet there is no proper documentation on invoice. He maybe knowledgeable because he was a plumbing vendor. BIG DIFFERENCE. He does not inspect the work completed by ""his"" workers. Which barely know him I must add. Yet he calls the job complete WITHOUT INSPECTION.
But is in a hurry to collect payment. ONLY cash, zelle, PayPal, Venmo

I had the main line sewer replaced NO connections and 2 clean outs installed. Charges contractors prices.

What put me over the edge was one of the clean outs being held by an old brick!

Soo many red flags!!! I will pursue this more in small claims court. Thank goodness for home cameras!!!

My main water line ruptured and the front yard was flooding.
Oscar was very prompt and communicative, which I appreciated. The quality of his work was good and he fixed it the same day.
One hangup we had was that he told me he was a licensed contractor and so I asked him to go forth with the work. But after more discussion, it turned out that his business partner was licensed and Oscar was using that license; Oscar was not licensed himself. We had some tense discussions, because the work already was underway. We ultimately worked out a work-around wherein I paid his business partner and his business partner effectively subcontracted the work to Oscar at Marathon Plumbing.
If I had known that Marathon was not licensed, I probably would not have contracted his work or I would have negotiated for a lower price. However, like I said up top, the quality of his work was sound and quick, which I appreciated.

Oscar is great, he was the only plumber I called who was able to come out same day and kept me updated with his availability. I had water damage in my bathroom, he inspected everything, and thought it might be a result of my upstairs neighbors shower. He was very honest and allowed me to weigh out my options without trying to pry any money out of me. I really appreciated his responsiveness, honesty, and his work. I will call him again if I have another plumbing issue.
