Daniel K.I contacted Marano P&H for information regarding replacing my faucet. They were very helpful on the phone as most of the job I was doing myself.
Later when I ran into trouble and needed help they sent someone the same day to finish the job. It came out great.
When in the basement he smelled a small amount of gas. I had just moved the dryer to change our furnace filter but he showed me the gas line was never installed properly and fixed it for no extra charge.
Highly recommended which is rare for me.
John J.Marano plumbing and heating sent a tech to my business location after I called them and request their ""free quote"" as listed on their web site. The tech spent the time griping about his unfortunate life experiences and drug addictions. He never performed the service of ac recharge I asked for but did say he would send a quote for a total HVAC makeover $10,000. Never even looked at my ac unit, just wanted to sell me a complete new system. Terrible loud mouthed woman that answers their phone is bullying and threatening!
I WILL never call this company AGain! We have a brand new home and had our basement bathroom pump clog and start to flood our basement. Since our home was new the pump was still under warranty so the builder had Mariano plumbing come out. They did arrive on time, cleared the clog and said they installed a new float device. (Once the float device gets high enough in the pump, then the pump empties). A little while later they came up and SAID they tested the new float device and SAID everything is working properly. Mean while, we had the basement flood cleaned up and remediatied (just to be safe) for 2 days. 2 days later- once everything is cleaned up- So my husband goes to take a shower and I never heard the pump run - which was odd cause after a shower it USED to run (before the flood). I went down and could see the buildup of water in the tank to the very top again ( very close to again flooding). I called the builder and demanded another plumber come out and take a look. They sent Sobieski (wonderful). After they reviewed the issue they came upstairs and said the floating device was not installed correctly! And if I hadn't called our basement would have flooded AGAiN! They replaced the floating device and also advised that we install a high water alarm. The alarm will sound if the water gets too high again to hopefully prevent a flood. Thank goodness I got a SKILLEd and knowledgeable plumber to come in and fix the headache and frustatration that the poorly trained plumbers from Marano screwed up. It's now a year later and we need a water pressure regulator installed. A neighbor had a recommendation for marano so not recognizing the name (since before the issue was in the hands of the builder) I called marano. I called and tried to schedule an appointment with the wife of the plumber who answers the phone. She couldn't schedule something on the spot with me...said she had to ask him what time slots would work and would call me back. That is not helpful at all! I called at a time that I was free to talk and wanted to make an appointment when I called not have a callback. So called me later that afternoon but I was in a drs appointment unable to answer. She said they had a cancellation (surprise) and could come out if not she would call me Tuesday morning to set up another time. (This was Thursday of a holiday weekend..they didn't have any openings on Friday). It's now Thursday a week later, she said she would call me back on Tuesday which never happened and now Thursday still no call back. Terrible terrible company that I would not recommend to my enemies! It's a good thing that she didn't call me back for a while so I had some time to think and realize that it was the same company who didn't install our basement pump correctly! Obviously Im now on the phone with a skilled, knowledgeable and admirable company- Sobieski! Hope my experience makes u call someone else who will correctly resolve your plumbing issues the 1st time!
The worst company in Kennett. I do NOT recommend them at all. We live in a new house and we have to contact them at least twice per winter because the heater doesn't work. Worst customer service.
Came within 24 hrs of our call, which I consider reasonable for our type of call. We had an impossibly jammed garbage disposal. They said they would be here between 8:00-8:30 and were on time, they were courteous and wiped their wet shoes off. After trying for 15 trying to free the blades while disposal was installed, they had to remove it from the sink and open it up to remove the plastic handle jammed under one of the blades. All told they were in and out in just under an hour. They protected their work area and cleaned up after themselves. They were professional, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them.
Daniel L.Our home is 6 months old... We have had three service calls for a failed air conditioning system.
