So an apparently easy fix , turned into a home water disaster. Thank God my daughter found M.A.P plumbing , located in Lake Worth. The shower handle broke 2 nights ago . I decided to replace the handle or the entire valve after work yesterday. I have done it before, except this time , I could not remove the Philips screw inside the handle. Just kept turning. While my hands were turning raw, and I was too busy cursing, I asked my daughter to find a plumber to help me. The first company wanted to make an appointment for the next day. There is no way we will go 24 hours without water. The next call saved us. He said he would be at my house within an hour. In the meantime with help from a neighbor, we were able to remove most of the handle, which we both agreed would need a complete change out. One MAP worker was able to remove the rest and 20 minutes later another worker came with replacement supplies. The job was completed and fixed in about an hour, and the payment was very reasonable. In the process of shutting off the water to my house, I found out my house valve is also broken. So I will make an appointment with them to replace that valve also. I've lived in FL a few years and no plumbing service has come close to the reliability and professionalism of MAP plumbing. Mike came to install a water heater and he was on time, reliable, and reasonable and honest with his pricing. I've recommended him to friends and family as it's hard to find a good plumber here.

Called to have a clog in the main sewer cleared which was causing a backup in the guest bathroom. Mike came and snaked the drain and confirmed the clog was clear by running the fixtures in the guest bathroom for 20 minutes. Later I realized that now the master bathroom is clogged in the same manner, but this was not the case before he did the work. When I notified about the problem he insisted it was not related to his work. I find it hard to believe. Ended hiring another company to fix the problem.

This plumber Mike is very irresponsible in answering and responding calls after the contract is signed. Never return calls and the workmanship was very poor. I would never higher him as my plumber
