Paul started work on our basement last year. He took us for over $35,000. He vanished in December and we have not hear from him or seen him since. And neither have a lot of others that have not been paid for the work that was not done. Same excuses: car broke down, need money for supplies, need tires, cannot find someone to do the work. Need this, need that. Gotta go out of town. We have contacted the police, filed a report. Don't know what happened to him. Very disappointed with him and the lack of the work that was not completed.

Please do NOT hire him.

Think twice. Actually read this and move on. Paul was once the top of his game but something's happened and this isn't the guy you want to hire. He took my money and ran far, far away. He asked for a down payment to buy supplies. Once I really thought about it and looked up the supplies, nothing he bought cost 1/3 of what I wrote a check for. And now, I'll likely never see the money again.

Getting him to my house was like a search and rescue. He'd call and say he was on his way and then 2 - 3 hours later he'd show up. No rhyme or reason and certainly no apology. Caught my teenagers off guard. When you're working with professional people who have to go to an office, you don't do this! Some of the excuses included- car broke down, house was broken into, need to put snow tires on the truck, can't wake my employee up to get there. Oh! And this was all in a week's time! Save your drama for someone else.
