We had a slow working shower drain due to a kid dropping a large toy down it. Mike was unfortunately not able to resolve the issue, but absolutely not for him trying. He spent 4 hours on our job working to correct it and was professional and transparent the whole way. After he couldn't fix the issue, he didn't charge us a dime and actually uncovered some additional plumbing issues we had. Even though he couldn't resolve our problem (which is completely my kid's fault) he tried relentlessly and I would still absolutely call him with plumbing issues in the future. He was incredibly knowledgeable as to what our problem was, we just had an issue that wasn't fixable without more severe work (again, thanks kiddos).

Coming home at 6pm after being gone for 2 weeks, to a failed tankless water heater, right before New Year's Eve was not ideal. I was dreading for either the cost to have a plumber come out at ""after hours rates"" or having to wait days or weeks not having hot water during one of Reno's coldest New Years on record, and while also having an 8 month pregnant wife at home. So I reluctantly but frantically started calling around to local plumbers.

Calling Mansfield Plumbing and speaking with Mike (owner), explaining my predicament, was an immediate lift of stress off my shoulders. He was very empathetic for my situation and even with his busy schedule and the holiday, he came out first thing the next day to look at the problem and come up with a plan. 1 day later, he was replacing my tankless water heater. He frequently communicated with me, offered transparent and fair pricing, and above all, is just an absolute great person to work with. Not an ounce of anything but honesty from Mike. Never tried to upsell us for things we don't need, and went the extra mile to do the job the right way.

He has earned a lifetime of business from us and will be the first recommendation to anyone we know looking for an honest, reliable plumber.

Me Mansfield came out on Christmas Eve. We had 3 stuck sinks and we were trying to cook for Christmas the next day. He was so positive and he came and worked until 7:30 pm. Mike from Mansfield showed up 15 minutes after I called at 930 tonight when our house sewage line backed up into the house. He was kind, humble, punctual, thorough and truly cared. It was refreshing to do business with someone with those trates. We highly recommend him!

Having had no success with several other area plumbers for a leaky Roman tub faucet, Richard at Jolly Rooter referred me to Mike for help. Mike was able to quickly diagnose the issue and knew exactly what to do in order to fix it. He went, what I feel, was above and beyond to fit me into his schedule. With no trouble at all he was able to swap out the defective cartridges in my faucet and the whole thing was good as new.

Mike was prompt, personable (we had several hobbies in common and it was nice talking to him), knowledgeable, and his rates were very reasonable. While I hope I don't see Mike very often because I like not having plumbing issues, I will be using Mansfield Plumbing again when issues arise because this experience was flawless.

Mike provides excellent service. I contacted him based on other reviews, and wasn't disappointed. He came over and cleaned out the entire sewer line and got my plumbing back up and running. The day beforehand, he was also able to walk me through a few steps to diagnose the issue helping to save time, which I was really impressed with. When he did come over, he was efficient, got straight to work, and it was clear he had the best equipment on hand and expertise to get the job done. I've hired other plumbers in the area and have been far from impressed at times, so this experience was a breath of fresh air. I'll be referring Mansfield plumbing to others in need and look forward to being able to reach out again in the future.

Mike is an experienced long-term plumber working for various companies and has decided to go out on his own he is definitely looking for business ( I was fortunate to find him on yelp when I was in a little bit of a bind looking for plumbers), and he did a fantastic job installing a vanity, three toilets, fixing my kitchen sink and hooking up many appliances during a floor remodeling. He is hard-working and is reliable and is meticulous. I appreciated he backs up his work for 6 months. Five Stars. Thanks again Mike!

The original installation of our tankless water heater had serious problems with the recirculation function, resulting in mixing of hot/cold at the taps and a serious water hammer problem.  The original installer expressed doubts as to what the problem was, so we wanted to try someone else.  Mike quickly identified the problem (incorrectly installed check valves), as well as a code violation (needing an expansion tank).  There were several repair options, and he made sure we were aware of the pros/cons of each before deciding how to proceed.  He did an excellent job of replacing the valves and installing the tank, salvaging as much of the original work as possible to reduce installation cost.   If you need a plumber, Mike is the person to call.
