one star for flaking 2 appointments and then not responding to follow up emails.

I communicated with Mr. Manneh by phone and email about our clogged drain and desire to install a water recirculator. He directed us which piece to buy online and after it arrived in the mail we made a couple of appointments. My partner stayed home all day and heard nothing form Mr. Manneh either day to explain why he no-showed. My subsequent polite emails were also ignored.

Not only did Ata replace my garbage disposal for a very fair price, he brightened my day. He is a genuine, kind and honest man. He was kind enough to stay late in the city to switch out my broken disposal with the new one that I was able to get on warranty at his suggestion. I hopefully will not have plumbing issues in the future, but if I do, I will without a doubt call Ata. His good work and kind honest manner is more than you can hope for. Many praises!

Arrived late, but warned me ahead of time that might happen. He was super friendly during the time he fixed my plumbing problems, did a good job, in a short amount of time, and advised me on how to fix future problems on my own, if I cared to. I'd recommend him to anyone.

This guy is extremely unprofessional! I contacted him to fix my toilet and he told me to contact all my neighbors in my condo building to ask permission to have the water shut off, which I did and then I arranged with him to come by at a particular time, as the water would be off for 30 minutes. He didn't even bother to show up, and when I tried to contact him, his voicemail was full (on both days I tried to reach him), and he is unresponsive to text messages. All this, and I took off time from work to make sure I was here at the time we both decided he would come. DO NOT BOTHER TO CONTACT THIS GUY! YOU WILL WASTE YOUR TIME!

After reading reviews on Yelp, decided to call Manneh to fix a blocked sink drain. Called mid-morning, and problem fixed by 2pm! Great, prompt service, and Manneh took the time to explain the options and some risks involved due to possible pipe corrosion. Luckily all went smoothly and Manneh made sure he cleaned up afterwards. I know who to call in future.

Manneh has done a great job fixing my leaky shower drain, and he was very pleasant to deal with. It turned out there were two independent leaks, which didn't become obvious until after the first leak was fixed. After fixing the first leak, there was still a really slow drip, so Manneh added some silicone and told me to wait a few hours for it to dry before testing it again. When I tested it again later that night, I discovered it was still leaking. I called Manneh and he came over the next morning to fix it. It turned out to be a second independent leak and he had to custom solder a new pipe because the existing one turned out to be a quarter inch too short. He guarantees his work, and he didn't charge me for his time to fix the second leak. It doesn't get any better than that!

It's rare to find people as no-nonsense as Manneh. I called with what I thought was a serious issue - leaking pipes. He guided me through basic questions on the phone to see if he could get a grasp of the problem, and set up a time to squeeze me in for a same-day appointment. When he showed up, he went through several diagnostic steps to recognize the problem as a combination of a leaking seal and high pressure caused by cloggage. As a result, while we could do a bunch of invasive and expensive work to fix all the problems, he properly identified that we could quickly and inexpensively ameliorate the problem if he snaked the drain for me and we reinforced the seal (he gave me instructions on how I can do this myself, to save time and money).

Throughout it was clear that he really was looking out for my best interests - trying to get things fixed as quickly as possible and save me money. He's knowledgeable, really takes pride in his work and makes you feel valued as a customer. Definitely recommended!

Wow! I just called about what I thought was a serious plumbing issue - middle of a Sunday afternoon - and Ata, the owner, walked me through an easy fix on the phone! It was so wonderfully unexpected to be treated with such generosity and sweetness by a stranger! Thank you, Ata!
