EMPH is easy to work with. I ask for email or text and they got right back to me and scheduled an appointment. They're fast and they make good recommendations. They focus on the work while they're here. Bobby noticed something that a different company did wrong and offered to fix it (the thermostat was installed way too close to the heater). EMPH is great and I am so glad I found them.

Our furnace became erratic in running and always stopped before heating the house to the set temperature. The technician came, looked at the furnace, announced that it was working perfectly, told us to change the batteries on the thermostat, charged us, and left. We changed the batteries... not the problem. We changed the thermostat... also not the problem. We called someone else who came almost immediately and diagnosed and fixed the problem with the furnace quickly.
We will not use or recommend East Mountains Plumbing and Heating ever.

I've used East Mountain Plumbing now on three (3) different occasions. They are reliable, show up on time and have expert plumbers on staff. Their rates are reasonable and they perform quality work.

I would give them no stars if i could. The owner came in with an attitude, very condescending about how 'we' clogged the plumbing. He then cut a section out of a pipe to try to get to the problem without asking. After two days, he could not fix the problem left me with broken items (a $60 glass candle and several glass jars of skin care items about $150 total loss), 2"" of crap in my shower, that was previously clean and an unseated toilet.
We called an Albuquerque plumber, they fixed it in an hour and will have to replace the toilet, $1,300 and fix the pipe $100.
So, calling and trying to support local - they did not fix the problem and with their fee plus the cost of the damage a $300 dollar plumbing issue cost us almost $2,000. Stay clear!!!

We were without hot water all weekend. On Monday I needed to find someone to replace our water heater (at a reasonable price) on the same day; as I was getting a bit ripe from lack of a shower. These guys jumped right on it and installed our new water heater. They were very professional, patient and friendly. They answered all my questions and cleaned up when finished. I would definitely use them again!
