My heating unit was shut-down and was not starting.
I called Michael Mandell for the help, he quoted me $139 to attend the call and use the money against any repair.
He came and put a switch one and my heating system started. He gave me bill of $ 175, for switching on the unit.
Not reliable and honest. I will not recommend to any one

I have recently had to have a basement pump replaced durung a storm. I was able to reach Rob directly without a having to leave a message on a machine. He and his crew responded to my need quickly. Their promptness surely saved me thousands in water damage. The service they provided was professional and the price was more than reasonable. I have found my plumbing team for years to come!

Having had very good experiences with this company before, I called them when my water heater went. Had to call 3 x on a Sunday before I got a call back. Promised to come 1st thing in the AM, so I stayed home from work. When they were 45 minutes late, I called & was assured they'd be right there. Took another 1/2 hour- & the office is only 20 minutes away!!! 2 flunkies looked at my heater, said it had to be replaced, would cost $1500 & left without giving my an estimate or anything. A little research turned up that the heater was under warranty. Another company came in & fixed the problem for under $200 labor costs. I'll be calling them next time, not Mandell.....

Truthfully, I'm very surprised at some of these low ratings. Then again, some of those reviews are related to A/C which doesn't apply for us.

Mandell Plumbing has been our go-to guys for all our plumbing needs. (Sadly, this old house has had a LOT of plumbing issues over the years.) They are by no-means, the cheapest...but they're not the most expensive either. We've decided that their pricing is fair and well worth it. Most importantly, they are honest.

The team is always professional, pleasant and they do their jobs well -- cleanly and thoroughly. Never have we had any problems with any of their work. They know what they're doing. While needing repairs is never fun, when we see Tim, Ian, Rob and the others, we know we're in good hands.

Call them for all your plumbing needs -- your home will be better for it!

Terrible experience would neither use or recommend this company again - ever!. They sent two plumbers for the work - good news. Bad news only one was experienced the other one was in training. The office had double booked the appointment with a neighbor two doors down. The experienced plumber left my house, went to my neighbors, leaving the trainee with instructions how to replace the sink faucet. He couldn't fit under the sink to replace the faucet, didn't know how to replace the bathtub unit either. The only thing he could do was replace the shower head. So for 1 hour and 20 minutes he sat around waiting for his co-worker to come and do the work. Their website also advises a $25 credit applied to the job - that didn't happen either. Their pricing was extremely high - cost more to replace the kitchen faucet then the faucet cost. Then after all this want to charge me for a full service call fee, which I refused to do. Consequently they reduced the appointment fee but not until I refused to pay and requested they do something for the poor experience etc. No consideration for my experience, having me sit around and wait for the other plumber to come back to my house and finish the job etc. When the job was finally done it was done right but that's all I can say. Service charges too high, inexperienced staff, double booking an appoinment - very unprofessional. Why would you send a plumber who cannot fit under the sink to change out a faucet? I felt very badly for the guy, he clearly wanted to help but couldn't and didn't know what to do without the tenured plumber with him to provide direction and assist. The experienced plumber was good, apologetic, worked quickly when he finally came back to my house - but that's not the issue here. It's the overall experience, lack of consideration, inexperienced staff, double booking an appointment, and high fee's for services provided.

I would tackle any plumbing job myself before I would ever hire these high priced crooks..I spoke to several REAL plumbers after the fact of course and they agreed.with me that I was ripped off by this company . Charged me 250 bucks to rinse off a screen on my hot water heater that worked for a few weeks after that ..I hired a real plumber that replaced my water heater and out of good faith and pity I'm sure took off 150 off my bill...buyer beware stay away from this company..they will rip you off.actually I would not give any stars..

1 star is too much. Hired these guys to fix plumbing issue in mother-in-law's 50+ year old home. They ripped up carpet in living room, jack hammered the slab, supposedly cleared the line and put a cleanout in the center of the living room. Problem not fixed after all this. Called another plumber - they could not explain why there was a cleanout in the living room when the problem, a broken pipe was in the yard. Did a video and everything to show us. Stay far away from these folks, bad news. A cleanout in the living room!!

This is literally the worst contractor I have ever worked with. It has now taken over 4 days to instal our A/C. They leave early and they are less than helpful. Don't bother calling if you have a complaint, they use a calling service which good luck calling you back. This is literally the worst service ever. I hope no one ever has the displeasure of using them.

I recieved an over the phone quote for one price. When the service guy ""assessed"" the work, he determined it was going to be 10% more. I personnally think this is a common game this group plays knowing the hassel of getting another person on site is not worth the 10% they randommly tack onto the bill. On a good note, it seems the service was performed correctly.
