Mammoth USED TO BE a good company. Unfortunately, it is not the case anymore. They send a guy for mold remediation who had no education in mold - we knew more than he did - and could not go under the house to detect leaks as ... he was too fat to fit in. They never sent anybody else. They are a joke. We have had mold remediation 4 times in the past in other states and have undergo some serious process with competent professionals. We tried 2 companies here in AZ and none was even close. No professionalism.

I have had such a difficult time getting people to show up in Munds. I was able to get service the same day, very happy. I was given an estimate prior to arrival and the estimate was good, the work is done and I am impressed. Thank you Mammoth for such a great experience.

If you're an honest man looking for a job, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. You will either have NO work so you get sent home before lunch time. OR so much work that you don't get home till 10pm. These guys are so delusional they think we LIVE to WORK. And work they will, they will work you like you're not even a human. The work is so nasty, YOU will have to do it while the bosses stay CLEAN and out of harms way. You are the grunt and nothing more. The favoritism is crazy here so don't come expecting to go up in the ladder unless you're friends with the owner. I'm here for a check and that's all but this job is horrible. The bosses are the bosses and the grunts are the grunts but spend your energy somewhere else who appreciates the work you put in, you will not get that here

I had a flood in my rental due to a leaky roof and I called Mammoth. Within an hour they came out, on a weekend nonetheless. They quickly got it patched up and then came back out to rebuild my kitchen, the next day, after all the damage was taken care of. My short-term renters were coming to the property that week and everything was repaired before they got there. Super happy with these guys! I can't thank them enough.

If you notice, the reviews older than 2022 are all 5-star. Something has happened in the last two years that has really messed up this company. Our new home had major water damage, and Mammoth quickly cleared out everything from flooring, drywall, to furniture. Once everything was dried out, we were told it would be 3-4 months before they could fix things, and they wouldn't even give us a complete estimate.

We went with JB Restoration because they were honest, immediately got to work, and did an awesome job.

We had some significant water damage in our house in February. Mammoth fixed the plumbing, tore out the flooring, and dried out all areas that were affected. They were to order and install new flooring, repair the baseboards and patch some drywall. Today, April 6th, I made my 17th phone call to them asking where they are in the process. The answer is always the same: ""I'll get with the project manager and have him call you."" And yet, the phone call never comes. My advice, go elsewhere. No pride, no communication, no service.

They charge a fee to hold your appointment that doesn't get credited towards anything and I've never had that happen before. They ended up forgetting about me (you pay the fee online and then they call you to schedule you) so it took almost 2 weeks for me to get scheduled (I will admit I should have called sooner, but when you are directly told you will receive a call, it's easy to put it off and find excuses) but they did end up crediting the fee to hold the appointment to my bill because of that. However, they told me my appointment was at one time and when I called since they didn't show up I was told my appointment was actually at another time that same day so I had missed work for nothing. Might use them again if I can afford the deposit just to hold the appointment since the actual work they did was good and done quickly. They also work during heavy snow, the day they scheduled me we got a good amount of snow and I was expecting to get rescheduled, but they still came. The 3 stars is due to the multiple instances of miscommunication and the fact that I had missed work due to said miscommunication. The actual work I had done was 5 star work.

Our dishwasher decided to wash our subfloors right before Thanksgiving. At first glance I thought it was just a small amount of water, but found that a significant amount had went between the subfloor and the wood flooring. Mammoth came out and got fans and dehumidifiers up quickly, and have worked through my insurance company to get our kitchen back in order. We are still in the middle of this project, but I have found Mammoth to be super responsive and helpful in fixing this mess even during the holidays.

I hope to NEVER need their services again, but if I do, I am confident that Mammoth is the right company to call.

Mammoth Restoration charges $195 for an Inspector to come to my Flagstaff residence to give an estimate for mold mitigation, Superior Restoration charges nothing, zero $, nada to give an estimate.
