If you are reading this then your search for a honest reliable, courteous and professional plumber AT reasonable prices is over. Congratulations!
Dont believe me? Call them and they will do the work and you will return to post your own success story!
Mine was Gas pipe rework. The price was great and Ron, the Plumbing professional Mammoth sent out was an outstanding employee. Quick, clean and kept me informed of all progress. No "surprises" from them.
If youre wondering what good service was like in the "good ole days" then call Mammoth right now because with them TODAY is still good ole days!
I love them!

We've really liked working with Mammoth Plumbing over the past couple of years. They are always very respectful and do a great job - particularly, Ron! Typically, they can get out to see you in a reasonable turnaround time for more urgent matters. They helped fix two of our sinks that were having issues with leaking, installed a new faucet for us, as well as a new water heater. We trust them and they are our go-to people for any plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

My go-to for plumbing work. Ron has always taken care of me. Up front with cost and stands behind their repairs.

Didn't end up using them but they did advise me there was a 150-250 charge for after hours or weekend I ended up going elsewhere and was charged less than that for the repair!

I had a couple of different things that needed attention which brought me to call Mammoth plumbing.

My tankless hot water heater kept shutting off due to a bad install by another plumbing company who specializes in re-piping. The manufacture's website only listed two authorized repair centers and the other place was giving me the run-around so I called Mammoth plumbing even though they were further from the house.

Ron came out and had me up and running in no time, turns out the tankless hot water heater was not even close to being installed correctly. It sure was nice to have endless hot water after 18 months of misery.

While Ron was at my house I had him look at some work that still needed to be done in my 2nd bathroom and pointed out the leaking bathtub faucet and water logged floors.

Ron said he could fix the leak and I told him it had already been looked at and adjusted by another plumber but it was out of adjustment. He told me it should be a simple cartridge replacement and thought he had the part out in his truck. Five minutes later the cartridge was replaced and the leak was gone.

I got a quote to install my whole home filter and water softener and to do a service on my tankless which I also ended up doing at a later date.

I base my 5 star review on the fact that Ron was able to address all of my issues and fix them without a problem but he was also able to fix another issue I had believed there was no simple remedy for. Especially being as he was cleaning up another plumbers mess.

I received Quotes from three plumbing companies, Mammoth and another company were the low bid, Ron went over what he was going to do and where, his bid included the isolation kit and condensation filter. Ron also asked if I had the online coupon and they do discount for cash. I have used Mammoth before so this was a no-brainer choice. Ron showed up on time, did what he said he was going to do and cleaned up like he wasn't even there. Thank You Ron.

We have used Mammoth twice in the past two years for total disasters at our home (very large projects for 40+ year old pipes), Their price was much more reasonable than any other estimates. Their crews are great, show up when they say they will, and they keep the mess to a minimum and then clean up too. While I sincerely hope we are out of the home repair business for a while, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

John, the owner of Mammoth Plumbing came to my home yesterday. Although the previous homeowner had the work done, the 10 year warranty was honored with a smile and no questions asked. He was very thorough in his work, spending a lot of time. No work was necessary, but I wish to applaud the integrity in which he runs his business. Thank you, we need more local business owners like this!

First, the work that they performed for me. I was impressed with the work. i called them out to do a hydro-test on our drainage and they came out, and for $300, ran a camera all the way down, performed the test (without an existing cleanout) and told me everything I needed to know about my plumbing line. Hydro-static tests run between $250 and $500, sometimes more for special circumstances, so the price was competitive, and the work was good.

Second, their bid process. Now that I know everything about my line, I know that I need replace every existing piece of drainage under half of my house! Remarkably, cast iron only has a shelf life of 40 or so years, and in a 60 year old house, this means that most of our dookie is swimming through an earth tunnel with some cast iron pieces in it. So my team from Mammoth drew up the work and provided a bid of $14,850. This sounded like an awful lot since half of our house had already been updated and they would be re-routing only the two bathrooms on the same side of the house. As it happens, it was in fact a lot. My other bids came in at $9,985 and $9,350. I assumed that Mammoth was a plumber to the stars and selected one of the other bids. Then the guy from Mammoth calls me and when i told them that he was about five large over the other bids he says that he wishes I had told him and that he would match the other bids.

So this is the rub. If a contractor is more expensive, I'm good with that. Maybe they have ladies in bikinis doing some of the work or they use diamond encrusted tools. But for a guy to come back and tell me that he overbid me by 50% speaks to some fairly unscrupulous business practices. Fortunately for me, I have a general understanding of what this stuff costs and I bid the work out. But what if the 90 year old lady living alone across the street had hired him to do the work and he reemed her for an extra $5,000? I suppose they could make an argument that this guy could be new and he might not have his arms around the bidding process yet. However, the gap in the bids indicates to me that this guy was trying to take advantage of a family who had just been flooded.

So in summary, I've done my research on Yelp, Angies List, the BBB and word of mouth and all indicators are that Mammoth does some great work. The work they did do for me was good and I was happy with it. But in the world of residential construction, I put a high value on integrity, and based on my experience, they get an F on integrity.

I'm a new first-time homeowner in Atascocita and I came home from being out of town to find a water leak coming from the meter in my front yard. My first instinct was to call Roto-rooter. They came out and quoted $2300 to fix the leak and $3300 if they had to go under the sidewalk. I bet you can guess what I told them.

I gave Mammoth a shot and their tech, Luis had the job finished in an hour and a half for $350. He was upfront, respectful, and incredibly helpful.

Mammoth is awesome. Give them a shot!
