BEWARE, they are not movers. The owner is a handyman who fixes stuff for businesses, etc. I simply wanted Packers to help me since I hurt myself trying to do it all with the help of a friend. The two young men, who are volunteer firefighters, getting paid about $42 each for 2 hours. Since we had lots of boxes packed, most were donations from downsizing to move. I was very specific that they were to be given to a charity. My favorite charity may have been closed but there is at least one more on the way. I was told no one would take the donations so they don't know what happened to all the nice stuff.

I offered them anything they might have wanted but they said no but in order to do this, we HAVE TO RENT A U-HAUL! i GAVE THE YOUNG MEN $300 IN CASH AND THEN THE OWNER, CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD $467 MORE DOLLARS FOR THE RENTAL U-HAUL! He does not have a truck for moving, but simply for his tools.

Do NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH HIM BY PHONE. MAKE HIM GIVE YOU EVERYTHING IN WRITING - IT IS THE ONLY WAS I WAS REFUNDED THE $467 ON MY CREDIT CARD. SAD!

I used Maltese Services to move apartments this past June. They were easy to coordinate with and were very careful with my belongings and super nice guys! Because of Covid-19 I was unable to visit my new apartment in person before moving in. When we got there, the apartment not acceptable, and I was unable to move in. David and his guys were extremely helpful in my situation. They let me keep all my belongings in the truck over night while I figured out what to do, and even helped me call some different apartment complexes that they were connected to to see if they had any other openings! They were super flexible, and cared about my situation and well being. I highly recommend using their services, I don't know what I would have done without them that day.

Scheduled them to help load truck for daughter moving from State College to Vermont for a job after graduation. They did show up 15 minutes late and I was worried as rain was expected within a couple of hours. Once they arrived they got to work efficiently. We mostly had boxes and some furniture to pack up into a 16 foot moving van. They loaded and had everything secure in just over an hour. They have a 2 hour minimum and I was glad to pay it as my daughter lived on the third floor. The only reason I subtracted a star was wondering if they were going to show up for 15 minutes. Next time I would hope they would text to say on the way. The rain started to come down just as they finished!
