Mallick provides good quality work. The prices are now unbelievably high. For instance, for snaking a kitchen drain for 30 ft, Mallick charged $407 while another equally good company will charge about $180. Changing the flushing system of a toilet would cost $475 by Mallick, while the other company charged $135. I am very disappointed.
Frank installed a replacement copper water line and saddle valve for a new refrigerator. He explained the steps involved in the process before starting this work. He communicated with me throughout the process in a professional and pleasant manner. He was respectful of my property and cleaned up all areas that he worked in after he completed the job. I will request that Mallick send Frank to do the job for any future plumbing issues I may have in my home.
I can't recommend Mallick plumbing enough. We needed a hot water heater and the process was quick and easy. They technician doing the assessment was very clear that while our heater was still working it was very very old and it was just a matter of time before we had a big issue. He didn't seem to be an alarmist in general so I trusted when he said if we didn't want a mess on our hands we needed to act fast. They were very accurate about their appointment windows and went above and beyond when I needed a CO detector prior to inspection (totally my fault, but they helped me out). Give them a call for your hot water heating needs!
The technician came earlier than expected so I did not have to wait around which was nice. The technician was very courteous and explained to me in an intuitive way as to what was causing my plumbing issue. He also showed me the benefits of the tools that he was using and solved my plumbing issue. I will definitely call Mallick again for any future plumbing issues. They are an excellent company.
Mallick Plumbing is the best in the business. Consistent, top quality workmanship, punctuality, and fair prices for work performed. Their strong reputation and stellar reviews are well deserved. Cameron, one of Mallick's plumbers, repiped our kitchen plumbing after we detected a slab leak and because of his professionalism and the quality of his work, I signed up for Mallick's annual maintenance contract and Cameron is my go-to plumber whenever I need help. I highly recommend this company!
Corrine M.Mallick Plumbing was fast to respond to our leak. Our plumber Rob arrived on time and discovered our issue within minutes. He went right to work and was done quickly. Rob was very friendly and thorough when discussing options. We will definitely be using them again!
Got the same two representatives that gave me my complimentary (free) estimate when they came back to install new hot water tank and prv. Both were knowledgeable, courteous, patient and friendly. Professional and considerate as they did their work and showed me the completed jobs with explanations on expectations, use, and maintenance. #MOENFLO1
I'm very pleased with the work product and professionalism of Mallick Plumbing. I have used them several times and have never been disappointed. I'd also like to put in a good word for Claire, the gal who answers the phone. She's an absolute delight: courteous, friendly, professional and just generally a pleasure to deal with. This is not the least expensive plumbers in town but they're worth every penny. #MOENFLO10
Jo M.My new to me townhouse had a water heater that was at least 14 years old. Although it was still heating water and not leaking, it did make some grumpy aging noises. The plumber I had used when I was renovating last summer was unavailable and going to be out for a long period of time. His voicemail recommended Mallick.
I called Mallick and they were very personable over the phone. Due to COVID-19, I got to do a virtual call with Dale. I pointed out all my concerns and he asked for me to zoom in on some points of my old water heater. He said he would work on a quote for me and get it to me. And he did. Quote came quickly. I reviewed, but also wanted to get some other quotes for comparison. I used the Yelp option to send out a request to other plumbing companies. I did get replies, but only one other plumber gave me a quote. Others said they'd call to schedule a call but didn't.
So, I ended up with Mallick. I mentioned that the quote was a bit higher than expected. Dale reviewed some options and we settled on a plan that would work for me for the next decade. Dale ordered the water heater and other parts. Within a week or so, Katee from Mallick called to schedule.
Tyler showed up at my house bright an early the day of the appointment. I thought it was going to be two people, but it was just Tyler. Thankfully, my water heater closet is on the main level and right at the front door so he didn't have too far to go!
Took about 4-5 hours for the new water heater, expansion tank, and all the other bits and pieces to get installed. Tyler was informative and explained what I needed to know about the new water heater. While he was wrapping up, I had asked him about some other issues about the pressure valve and other pipes that probably needed to get checked and replaced. Tyler quoted it out for me so I had what I needed to research.
Good thing Tyler and I had chatted about it cause something wonky was happening with the water/pipes in the house. I got a lot of water hammering noise throughout the weekend. Draining everything and hoping air would get back into the pipes didn't help much. So, I called Mallick and asked Tyler to come back out. He came the next day and changed out the pressure valve. and checked for other issues. He was going to change the valve under the water meter for me, but had to have WSSC come out to fix the valve at the curb to turn off the water.
After WSSC came out and fixed the valve at the curb, Tyler came back out to finish changing the valve. Good timing cause before he arrived, I could hear a toilet tank refilling. Tyler checked it out, did the dye test and there's a leak. So, once the parts come in, he'll be back.
Mallick is following COVID precautions. Tyler has a mask and gloves. He's also mindful of property wearing booties over his shoes inside the house. Also careful to make sure the door is closed as he goes in and out of the house to his work truck. Incredibly polite. Definitely recommend Mallick Plumbing.

Michelle B.From initial phone call to work completed, this company does not disappoint. Our plumber was Jason and he is hard-working, smart, and a great communicator. He did a very tricky install for us and it was perfect! #MOENFLO14
