I would give ZERO stars if I could! they up sale at every opportunity, even when told to stop. told no, they then call and Want approval for the "estimate." I would not recommend to anyone. I had the yearly service for about 4 years and every visit they tried to tell me I needed yet another expensive part. They are not a business that you can trust.

I signed up for Malek's service maintenance plan and had them out for the first time and told them ahead of time that my system was working fine except for an actuator that was not working and wanted to make sure they brought the part to fix it. The tech arrived and agreed system was ok and then proceeded to tell me that my system was very high end and the filter being used was the wrong size in the unit upstairs and I would need a different filter which he stated was around $1500 and I told him that was ridiculous to think someone was going to replace a $1500 filter every year when my $20 filter has been working fine. He proceeds to tell me that my UV light is at it's 5 year life and would likely need replacing soon and then he replaced my actuator as was originally requested and that took all of literally 5 minutes as it's easily accessible and was just unconnecting and reconnecting 2 wires to the new actuator. My bill was over $600. I understand paying for a slight premium for the part - which is readily available online for under $100 - but that was over the top excessive. I called to speak with the manager to share my displeasure with the charge and how they appear to leave it to the individual techs to price - and I left my name and number and message and was told by the lady I would receive a call back and that has been over a month ago and no one has called. I also called a couple other services around to see what they would charge and the going rate was about $250-$300. BEWARE of price gouging with this company.

I am happy to recommend a very talented and personable electrician, Derek, who skillfully fixed a defective solar panel inverter installed by a different company that is now out of business. Derek did the electrical work promptly, while also performing the administrative takes necessary to qualify me for a warrantied repair. I paid $0 (that ZERO dollars) for the service.

Charged $400, which is more than double what my regular plumber charged fixing the same tap during the last freeze. They simply happened to be the first ones to pick up after the current freeze to get the leaking outdoor tap fixed. On the day of the job the company called me multiple times to pay them even before the plumber had actually showed up for the job. Four plumbers arrived to do a one person job.

Michael K came out for our maintenance check-up and recommended we get new ionizers since our was not working properly. He was very educated on the A/C system and worked fast to get the problem fixed. We will continue to use Malek and will request Michael for any repairs or issues we might have. Keep up the great work!
P.S.- Join there membership plan and it will save you tons of money in the long run.

Very disappointed with the value of the services at Malek. We signed up for the $150 annual service expecting good things, but after hearing they wanted $400 to repair a toilet fill valve ($20 part and 10 minute fix) , we are very disappointed to say the least. I feel like they lure you in with an affordable evaluation fee and annual service fee, but the actual services are not realistic. Would highly recommend anyone looking for plumbing services to keep looking.

Buddy's wife complaining about leak in hall ceiling, so he called his HVAC guy who told him he needed a Plumber??? to fix that HVAC pan leak in attic. Incredible but since he was sending someone up there & wife had a cough/allergies he thought maybe also visually check for duct leaks. Who to call? Malek radio ads broadcast they had just added plumbing services to their long time HVAC biz ... maybe this was when TX decided no need of a license to plumb ..... ? Anyway this was ~summer 2020.
Well, without supervision, my buddy agrees to a potential $3000 quote - worst case scenario to include repairs - since they never work by-the-hour. ~Two hours later, they present him with "no leaks", cleared & draining fine pan, no more water leaks & $3000 bill! He wrote a check but began complaining about $1500/hr work.
You can check on Homewyse the facts uncovered
.... the office estimator could not find such work in his pricing book but others can find $51 for clearing a stopped up pan, even if a drill was needed - but nothing about visually checking for exterior duct leaks
.... the office estimator DID find in his pricing book ~$3000 Duct line repairs, basic labor 33.4hrs that INCLUDED adding a 25ft duct, new registers, design-build-materials
After personal visits they finally settled on $1000 - yikes.
Seems so silly to run a biz like this.
So even though they admitted wrong & settled, it still comes out to $500/hr + customer time spent haggling.

Every staff member was extremely polite and professional. They replaced a part on my air conditioner and provided an estimate for another needed repair very quickly

Installed two units a couple years ago. Spent a lot of money . NOT SATISFIED. Terrible service. They never made it right. I could say a lot more. Watch your pocket.

So thankful I called this company! Quick response, great professionalism, and helped to promptly resolve our issues of a broken unit knowing we had a baby in the home. Couldn't recommend them enough!
