Do Not Use!! They charged us $545- $195 for diagnosis and $350 to ""fix"" our Central AC unit but it still doesn't work!! After the technician completed the ""repair"" he informed us it did not work so he checked the amps on the compressor and found that it was low. He said we need a new unit which would cost approximately $7,000. I asked why that test was not done during diagnosis and his reply was that the change in piston had to be done first to make sure that wasn't the problem. My impression is that he is not a highly qualified technician. He had some sort of checklist in his head from a book he was following. Something an experienced technician would not do. I think charging someone $545 for work that did not fix the problem is completely unethical. Why should I have to pay for something that didn't have to be fixed just because the company is unqualified to competently diagnose the problem. After calling and speaking to them to try and rectify the situation- we were told that sometimes in this business stuff like this happens. But if we spend the $7,000 on a new unit they would credit us a small portion of our current bill toward the new unit. I wouldn't trust them to work on my unit again. They are a complete rip off and I would never recommend them or use them again. And honestly I don't trust the diagnosis that we need a new unit and will be needing a second opinion.
