I had no issues with the work that Gene R did. I could hear him working in the mother of blocked toilets. I had tried plunger, auger and baking soda and vinegar and nothing freed it.

He had a power auger and in about 2 minutes he had the toilet flushing.

Our property management called this ridiculous business out to fix a leak under our sink. We were given a 4 hour window after this ""business"" contacted MY number to set up an appointment. Well apparently this ""business"", and I use that term loosely, showed up, didn't ring the door bell, I hear no knock on my door and called my husbands phone number (who is at work and doesn't answer his phone) instead of the number they called to MAKE THE APPOINTMENT in the first place. Why would you not be calling the person you set up an appointment with? My husband didn't make the appointment with you, I did. I called the number that called me back and this awful woman does not allow you to speak, claims she's the owner, yet I can hear her children screaming in the background as I'm trying to speak to her and is horrible at customer service. She told me ""well you will be getting charged anyway for us showing up, good luck with that, And I'm calling your property management too, and we won't be coming back out to your house to fix anything."" My response was ""please dont. I'll be finding a new plumber who knows how to do their job and is professional and acts like a real business."" I then hung up. I won't be disrespected as a paying customer. Period.

After speaking with them about the problem, and explaining what the solution was since we had it cleaned twice in the past two years, the tech proceeded to ignore what the problem was and ended up flooding our bathroom and the adjacent carpet, and ruining our brand new digital scale. He was told the problem was the tree in our front yard breaking through the drain line, and that it needed to be cleaned out to the street (it will last another year, then), Instead, he said it was hair in the drain (which I had already cleaned out), and he proceeded to turn on the water full blast flooding the room. Now we have to wash the 20-25 towels it took to clean up his mess, as well as take several days for the carpet to dry. I wish our property manager had called someone else.

Called them out to my moms to do some work and they did a great job. My mom had a bathroom sink faucet that's been leaking for years and he saw that and fixed it. Will call them when she needs a plumber again

Our property management called these guys to come fix a broken garbage disposal. It took two days for them to contact us (not a big deal) and then a two hour window to expect a tech (typical).

90 minutes into the window, I have to grab my kid from school unexpectedly. Of course, they show up right as I get to the school and call me. I told them what happened and that I would be ""about 10 minutes"" getting back if they would please wait. They said sure, but please hurry.

I booked it back to the house, only to get a call from dispatch 9 minutes after hanging up, that the techs are leaving ""because you said 10 minutes and it has been 10 minutes."" I told her that I was, legitimately, 6 houses away (around the corner) and I would be right there and her response was that they probably weren't going to be there and hung up. Get there... Not a sign of them. They aren't even on my street.

So, I get my kids inside and call the main number back. Tried 3 times over 15 minutes and was sent straight to voicemail each time. Left a message the third time. Still haven't heard back.

Horrible experience! I called Major Plumbing to install a part I bought for an antique plumbing fixture, and to fix leaking faucets. After scheduling an appointment for sometime during a two-hour window, I realized I needed to reschedule or have them arrive early during the two hours because I had an appointment shortly after the two-hour time. Despite leaving several messages, my call was not returned, but Gene and his associate arrived the next morning and told me the scheduler said to arrive early. After Gene provided an estimate and they fixed one faucet, we agreed to schedule a return visit. After they left, I discovered they took the replacement part (which cost less than the value of their visit) with them and called to confirm they had the part and would bring it on their next visit. I left several messages and received a message the next day from their scheduler, Michelle, informing me they would leave the part at my home. I called back to ask if they could just bring the part when they returned, and this time Michelle actually answered and declared they would not return because I accused them of stealing. I explained my intent was to confirm they were aware they had the part and would bring it on the next visit, but was rudely informed the company would not be conducting business with me and I should be grateful for the free work. I asked if I could deal with Gene directly, and was told everyone went through her. Before hanging up, Michelle gleefully hissed that I should ""have a nice life"". The plumbers seemed decent but dealing with that awful woman was traumatizing. I am hiring another company.

Richard and Gene at Major Plumbing are so professional and knowledgeable. We've experienced plumbing issues in our rental for multiple weeks. Our landlord kept sending other plumbers to fix things. It wasn't until Gene and Richard arrived that we were finally able to get things properly fixed. They are beyond knowledgable and extremely nice. If we had any plumbing issues to fix we'd call them again. Richard and Gene have successfully fixed EVERY water source in our house.

Had Major Plumbing in for some drain cleaning. Gene was prompt and courteous. He took care of our 92 year old pipes and did a fantastic job. Extra work was needed, he went out and got the parts but the estimate did not change. Pipes draining perfectly now! I am definitely calling him back for plumbing needs!
