I have been putting off calling a professional for a drain issue because I was concerned about it being expensive. I finally broke down and was referred to Major Drain by a friend. Not only was this long time issue fixed in like 15 minutes ..but it was the exact price they quoted - like $139 with tax. Turns out it was just a clog. Chad was great explained everything, quick and didn't try to upsell! I think if there is someone worried about a plumbing issue - give them a call and give them a chance.

Let me tell! I have had MD come out 2x for drain issues. Honest, no upsales and so far class act. Would highly recommend. Staff is pro, efficient and honest.

Prompt, professional, transparent, thorough. When you're in a jam with a plumbing issue and you're calling a place like this, it is such a relief when they can accurately communicate when they can be there, what it will cost, what the problem is, and then, get the job done. Ryan called when he was on the way, investigated, explained what was wrong, and remedied the situation (after hours) for an affordable price. Thankful there are businesses like this! First of all, the office is very responsive and had the plumber out in very good time. Working with only one toilet can be an issue now and then with a full house and the company prior to MD was just trying to sell a new toilet. Second, the plastic ring was cracked and causing leaks, super simple to fix and reset the toilet. There was no need to be days without a second toilet. Thanks to Matt for coming to the rescue and getting us upgraded and reset in NO TIME. We won't ever be using another company. Thanks to MD for getting life back on track!

Jane from Major drain worked with me on my issue and communicated questions to Mike, who is , I suppose the owner? Mike reviewed my email to him, did the necessary research about my plumbing problem, and Jane got back to me with some answers. Even though we didn't end up scheduling the job with them and used a friend of a friend to do it, but we really appreciated the complementary info and their expertise. They are highly professional, thorough, I highly recommend them

John and the Major Drain team did an amazing job with our plumbing/drainage issue, and we could not be more happy with the results.

We submitted a request for a quote over Yelp, within an hour they'd already replied with their pricing and availability, and even though we were not at all in an emergency situation, they still came out the very next morning and fixed everything perfectly.

We have little kids, so we specifically requested a notice when they were on the way, and not only did the office call ahead to ask us for permission to move our timeframe a bit earlier in the day (which works fine for us) but then John also took the time to call and let us know when he was 10 minutes out. The communication and reliability from everyone at Major Drain was incredibly appreciated!

Once John got to our house, he looked at the issue, immediately knew what was wrong, and in less than an hour he'd bought the items needed and resolved our issue for us.

Most of all the thing that really stuck out to me was the quality of service. John didn't just fix the leaky drain in question, he also ran the washing machine through all its cycles after fixing the drain to make sure the issue was fully resolved. I was not expecting that at all (I was planning on doing it myself while he was still here) but the fact that he went above and beyond to make sure the issue was completely fixed really stood out to me and I really appreciated that.

I could not say enough good things about John and the Major Drain team, keep up the amazing work! We'll definitely be coming back to you in the future, you've earned a customer for life from us.

chad is a rude liar and company is very sneaky.....he never said he had to charge for cleaning another drain, did it and THEN charged us...he should have explained charges and didn't...he goes to truck and calls company and spends 20 min getting his bill itemized...don't believe in the 130.00 quote...they add every thing up that is usually included in other companies....would NEVER use again....biggest rip off people.....had to give a 1 star...not even worth that....

and oh yes, he left the basement door to garage open so cat could have gotten out...didn't even have enough professionalism to close the door after himself!!!! most companies explain what they are doing and what it will cost...major drain just makes it up as they go, and spends almost as much time writing up the bill with the help from the office on phone from truck...chad never explained a thing...just said I need to write up your bill....boy when they say that....watch out...

I had Major Drain out a couple of years ago when my regular plumber couldn't get come.

I had a huge flood in my basement due to a plugged mainline drain. It appeared to be caused by wipes. I told the plumber that we didn't use wipes, but he didn't believe me. I asked why we would have wipes plugging up our drain when we didn't use them, and he said, ""Because you do.""

Major Drain was out three times in four days. Cost me a fortune. The plug was not removed. The company did not give me any warrenty on the work, so I had to pay each time they came. Not a happy camper, to say the least.
