Terrible owner! Okay he's friendly, next he's screaming at you (his employees say this is typical). He was assigned by my home warranty company to put in new water heater & remove old one. After he had warranty company send 3 different specialists come in to confirm the electrical system was fine (he insisted it wasn't), then finding other excuses not to replace water heater, he finally sent someone to replace it. He sent only 1 person, so heater couldn't be lifted properly causing bottom basement step to break. A year later, owner refuses to remove old heater saying he was here (he was not) & screaming at me saying he won't remove heater he was paid to remove.
I was referred to this company by my Home Warranty company due to a water problem at my rental property. Water was pooling around the hot water heater, they sent a tech out and said it was the HVAC not the hot water heater. They said they would need to send out another tech to repair the HVAC. We made an appointment for the next morning and the tech never showed. Company is not answering the phone and the HVAC is still leaking water. Now we have a water problem in the basement because of this company's inability to come to a scheduled appointment.
Brittany W.Main Line Plumbing Service was AWFUL to deal with. First of all, we filed a claim through our home warranty and they were assigned to us. We asked them to come out and make sure our HVAC was working because it was not blowing cold air. When i didn't receive a text confirmation with an appointment window, I called Main Line Plumbing Service and Tom gave me the run around and would not give me a specific day or time that his tech would be out. He then blamed the issue on my Nest Thermostat. He FINALLY agreed to send someone out in 2 days. The tech told us it just needed Freon. We paid them $125/lb for Freon! And a week after they were at our house, our unit was leaking and flooded our basement and the neighbor's basement. I called Main Line Plumbing Service myself and Tom was a complete jerk! He yelled at me and told me that he wasn't taking responsibility for the flooding because his tech didn't do it. I called my warranty company and the tech came back out and told me that it would be over $1,000 to fix the issue. I had another HVAC company come out and they determined that the tech from Main Line Plumbing Service unclogged a blockage but left all the water in the vents and that's what was leaking. I would never ever recommend them to anyone. The only reason I got stuck with them was because they were assigned to me through my home warranty company.
Not honest! Beware especially if you have American Home Shield warranty. Takes deductible money and claims the warranty won't service it. Literally in and out in 2 minutes. Received a second opinion via the warranty service and they found it was legit and covered it.
Tom is not who you want working on your plumbing. Talks the talk but is shady!

I had a big problem and feared the the news I was going to get would be the worst. I was correct in fearing the problem was big but these people found my solution right then and there and could have easily made it a extremely big job. I was so happy with the honesty and integrity and service that this company provided. I also have a peace of mind that when I do call them they will service my home in a most professional manner. STAY FAR FAR AWAY!! This is the worst company that I have ever encountered. They were contracted through my home warranty company to check my AC. The first time that I called to make an appointment, I was yelled at on the phone and told that they were busy and their app wasn't working. They said that they would call when the app was working, but never did. Two days later I had to call again to make an appointment. When they came out to assess the problem, they were rude and didn't even bring their own ladder. When they saw that the problem was in the attic, they complained and said that they didn't do that kind of work. A week later, the warranty company told me to contact them to complete service after the issue was reviewed. When I called to make an appointment, I was again yelled at repeatedly on the phone. They said that they did not want to complete repairs and they would call back the warranty company to get the approval cancelled. They refused to give me any details on the situation and stated that they could care less about me as I was not their customer and the home warranty company was their customer. Later, the warranty company said that the diagnostic report would be sent from Mainline Plumbing and requested Mainline to send it to me. Instead, I was called at 10:15 pm by Mainline and was yelled at once again and told that they would not tell me anything.
Our home warranty recommended to us to use mainline plumbing to repair our ac unit. they came out and looked at the unit outside and I said another ac guy said it needed to be replaced (it was obvious the unit was all rusted and 15 yrs old, end of life) he replied in a nasty tone that he won't go by that. then i was working from home on my laptop in my bedroom with the news on. He was looking at the ac unit inside which was in the hallway upstairs about 3 feet from my bedroom. He came into my bedroom to ask what was going on in the news and interrupted me working. I asked him if he was going to check for a leak on the other ac unit (we have two) since the other one was installed last summer practically brand new and was not cooling. He said no because the Freon didn't leak out, when they installed it new last year they probably just didn't fill it up all the way with Freon. I asked my friend that is certified in AC and he said that was total bs. new ac units come fully charged and the Freon would just leak out again and would need to be recharged again. This is the 2nd time we used the new unit and its not working so I am assuming main line did not charge it with Freon only charged us for it. we will have to call the Home Warranty company back to get a competent company to come out to fix what Main Line already charged us and the warranty company for. Tom, the owner also was nasty to my husband and when my husband asked ""this is how you treat your customers?"" he blew up and started telling my husband off saying he doesn't need our business. I really wish the warranty company would take them out of rotation. they are nasty and incompetent and do not deserve any business. They never completed the work on the replacement of the rusty unit as they were too lazy to pick up the parts the warranty company ordered so, we had to ask the warranty company to give us the cash out option and we hired someone competent so at least we have one unit that is working properly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I am bit baffled by the negative reviewed on here, especially after my experience. For what its worth, its a good example of not believing everything you read on the internet.
