As a realtor/broker I have used Mainline Plumbing for my sewer inspections and sewer repairs/replacements for 10+ years.  I have also used them at my own property and properties that I buy and sell.  I am overly impressed with their service/workmanship/pricing and ability to be responsive in an emergency situation.   I can text Ranelle 24 x 7 and she always responds almost immediately.  I have had to use other plumbers on the rare occasion when they aren't available and am usually sorely disappointed.

Mainline Plumbing is TERRIFIC. I have used other plumbers thought the years, with varying success. The plumbing problems were never solved, and the price they would charge me was outrageous. Then I found Mainline. Ranellle, and all the plumbers I have met, have been great .. very professional, friendly, and they have solved my issues. Mainline is my plumbing service now and in the future. Highly, highly recommend them!!!

Mainline Plumbing is a wonderful gem we found on Yelp as new home owners a little over 7 years ago. Our new purchase money pit had some issues with the pipes under the concrete driveway and tree roots. The first company we contacted told us we would have to dig up the driveway and install new pipes. As any diligent (and house poor) homeowner does, we got a second opinion from Mainline. They told us not to waste our money. We didn't need to dig up anything. They rootered (is that the technical term? Haha) through the pipes and said if we cleared out every couple of years and were careful with what we flushed, (down to the brands of toilet paper we should stay away from) we'd be just fine. Almost 8 years on that has proven to be the case. From that moment on we knew that we had found our plumber! We've never needed a second opinion for plumbing! This is a testament to their honesty and knowledge. They absolutely are experts in their field.

Since then Mainline has been so quick to respond to all the normal gross plumbing joys of home ownership, making sure that we are taken care of what feels like almost immediately. They are so wonderful to their customers, new and long standing.
When the team is here they are so hard working. They do not stop until they identify the problem and get it fixed. If they need more guys or different equipment more of the team shows up.
They are skilled, diligent, and hard working.

Just today I text Ranelle at 7:20am (I didn't want to call so early) to let her know our 10 yr old hot water heater had given out. She immediately replied, directed me to take photos so she could do a warranty check. Her first priority was to make sure that I didn't have to buy a new water heater if I didn't have to. What did I tell you about being honest and taking care of their customers? Ranelle gave me all the information about extending the new tank's warranty and is going to help me with the SoCal Gas rebate!! Who does that?!?! Good people, that's who!
I was told the team would be here after lunch. The team finished up their first job early so I was given a heads up and at 11:05am the team was here. Because my husband was giving a presentation on Zoom they went out of their way to drain our 75 gallon water heater with a hose instead of the noisy pump they normally use (I'm sure this was more time consuming). The team really is so considerate of your home and what you have going on. By 12:45pm everything was done, one of the guys showed me how to light the pilot and adjust the temp if I need to and Cesar, the owner (with Ranelle) and plumber extraordinaire was hosing down the pavement to make sure there was no trace of them having been there. What a great and quick experience for something that could have caused big problems!

If all of this was not enough to convince you how good they are at what they do and how lovely they are I have one final experience to tell you about. My in-laws lost their house in the Wolsey fires a couple of years ago and I am helping them to find all the finishes and fixtures they need on a budget (side note: even with massive insurance polices, insurance doesn't cover every cost - we have had to budget hard for even the basics). So, not being an expert in plumbing and plumbing fixtures myself I didn't want to mess anything up and had some questions before I bought the wrong things and had them installed in the new building. It is important to note that Mainline are not the plumbing company our contractor uses (although I wish they were). Nonetheless, knowing how lovely they are I called Ranelle to ask if she would mind educating me a little bit on a couple of things. Not only was she kind enough to give me her time, which was so helpful, she tried to connect me with one of her suppliers to see if we could get all of the items (for an entirely new house) at a discounted rate. She did this for no other reason than she is a wonderful person! She wasn't going to get any commission, nor did I have any control over who the contractor uses for his plumbing needs. I can't tell you how much this warmed my heart and speaks volumes to the wonderful people they are and excellent company Ranelle and Cesar run.

So if you've made it to the end of my 5* review you won't need me to tell you to stop looking and call Mainline.
I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This was sadly a waste of time. The service seemed extremely rushed and instead of helping to resolve the issue I was left without any water at all. The technicians said that they never seen water pressure issues of this nature and they could not even be bothered to send somebody back out to help. I had family visiting and we had no running water for days. Apparently, the company has a big job with the city and cannot afford to send somebody to help fix their mistakes. I've been left high and dry with these guys. I am glad the neighborhood loves them but if your seeking for great customer service and attention to detail please look somewhere else. I work in commercial HVAC and cannot even imagine if I told a customer that I had no idea what's wrong and don't have the time to send some somebody after we made something worse. We're supposed to be neighbors but I didn't get a warm feeling. Just a lot of wasted time and some money.

I REALLY can't say enough good things about this company!! They are just so fantastic!!. Even though they were so busy and booked, they managed to fit us in. Honestly, the best thing is that they really seem to CARE. We had a gas leak and they didn't want us to go long with it shut off. They respond so quickly too! It's really something special when you find people this reliable, caring, trustworthy and professional. Thank you!!

I would like to give Ranelle at Mainline Plumbing a HUGE thank you for helping me over the phone with my toilet problem today. She is an Angel!!! I have a Toto toilet that didn't seem to be filling properly. To make a long story short - Ranelle did a little trouble shooting over the phone to help me while parts could get ordered. In helping trouble shoot - we figured out that the water valve had been turned off slightly (probably from my housekeeper) and the water wasn't filling properly. There is actually nothing wrong with my toilet - but I wouldn't have known that if Ranelle didn't take time over the phone to trouble shoot with me. Great lady! I will definitely keep this contact for future problems. Call Ranelle!!!!

Mainline is truly the best Plumbing and Rootering company I've used...they are totally reliable, very affordable and they REALLY know their stuff! They just fixed our leaking bathroom faucet and under-sink water valve, and did it quickly and professionally.

I've used Mainline for a wide range of problems over the years (from leaking faucets and shower valves, to snaking/rootering out the largest clump of tree roots from our sewer line that you've ever seen - there was a true a monster pile of tree roots when they were done!).

The owner, Ranelle, is always available and keeps you informed along the way. She often asks for a quick photo of the problem texted to her so she can tell how big a job it will be, and can even tell what special parts might be needed based on your fixtures. And if there are parts shortages (like there are now during COVID), she lets you know about that before sending a crew out (unlike other plumbers I've used in the past, who come out, charge for a service call, and only THEN say ""Oh, I'll need to order a part...I'll be back in a week""). And with Mainline, if someone else cancels or she has an unexpected opening, Ranelle will try to get you a crew out even earlier.

While no plumber is ""cheap"", because Mainline is honest in their work, (don't charge you for unnecessary things, and don't try to pad the bills by sneaking in ""repairs"" that aren't really necessary -- like some other local companies do), I've actually found their rates to be among the best and most affordable in LA.

If you live in Mainline's service area, and if you have a plumbing problem, do yourself a favor and call Ranelle at Mainline...once you've done that, you won't ever call another plumber again.

PS - their workmen on today's job were awesome, and they were very careful and safe in wearing masks, and had booties to wear when inside. You can definitely feel safe having them in your home during this crazy COVID pandemic!

We had an ""explosive"" 4th of July- our sewer and our water heater. Ugh. We called Mainline and Ranelle and Cesar were so great. They fixed both of our issues (cleared the sewer and replaced our water heater) right away and didn't charge us a holiday rate. Super nice and easy to work with! Thanks Mainline!!

Rude. They make you feel like they're doing you a ""favor"" and you're lucky that they even considered working with you. Maybe because they think they're infallible with good reviews they don't care anymore? Trust me- hire a different company unless you want condescending drama from Ranelle who takes zero accountability for her mistakes
