Maichle's came to my house to look at repairing my Rheem Combi Boiler. Mechanic was nice but called his boss and then told me they did not work on Bosch equipment. I reminded it is a Rheem, not a Bosch. Still said it was not a brand they worked on.

So... I log into the Rheem website and search for a Rheem local contractor and the first one to pop up is Maichle's Heating & Air Conditioning.

I hope this is simply a misunderstanding because how disappointing Maichle's.

great experience. Our unit has been serviced every year by another company and it wasn't until we contacted these guys and Mr. John Kelley came out to service our oil furnace for us to realize it wasn't ever completely serviced the correct way. Mr. Kelley went above and beyond to provide us with the best service we have ever received from other companies. He was very punctual and very transparent when it came to explaining our unit and everything he had to do to get us in the best shape possible. He left zero mess behind his work and took the outmost pride in his profession. I would highly recommend this company and John to take care of your home to get the most efficient and safe outcome out of your unit!!!

Our oil heater that was 20+ years old blew up during a service request performed by another HVAC company, not Maichles. Without heat, we called around to get quotes on a new system as we wanted to replace our air conditioner and switch to gas, as new gas lines were installed in our neighborhood three years ago. We called eight different HVAC companies and we were most impressed with Tony from Maichles who was very knowledgeable and extremely responsive. I called him after 7:30 p.m., on one occasion, and was surprised that he picked up the phone and answered questions I had regarding a new HVAC system. Tony provided us with five different options and had them on a spreadsheet that showed the different equipment and price points. In addition, after reviewing online reviews, I did not see an HVAC company that could compete against the many highly satisfied customers who mentioned Maichles.

We contacted Delmarva to run gas lines and were informed that it could take 6-8 weeks. Maichles went above and beyond and assisted us with getting the lines run in a little over a week. They also assisted us on getting an energy rebate from the State through Energize Delaware.

The install of the equipment took one day and all three HVAC technicians worked diligently to remove the old equipment, including draining and removing the old oil tank in our basement. The responsiveness of all the employees, workmanship, knowledge, and competitive prices made a great experience for us. Michelle, from the office, called frequently and ensured we were informed of when technicians would arrive and what they would be doing/performing.

I am a very happy and satisfied customer!

It was reported by a Horizon Services Tech that I have a cracked heat exchanger in my 8.5 year old XV95. My two options were a repair or replace the system with a 2700 dollar credit...unacceptable. I called Trane and Miachles and discovered that this particular heat exchanger has a 99 year - lifetime warranty from cracks and failures. Discovered very few fail and as long as your registered Trane covers the part (all the time) and you must cover installation... Pass the word to your friends....

I am not even a customer yet, and John stayed of the phone with me for over 20 minutes answering all of my questions and putting my fears to rest.... I will definitely use them after Horizon installs this heat exchanger at no cost to me (covered by a warranty). Thank you again Maichles... you were kind, patience, and I felt like is was not about making money off of the customer. I look forward to your services in the future.

Highly recommended. Its 11:55pm and the technician is here fixing our heater. The coldest night this year and it went out. Called around 10pm and someone was here within the hour. Very nice, friendly, prifessional, and most of all compassionate.

The most reliable heating and air-conditioning company in Delaware and surrounding areas. To give you an example, the technician came out at 9:30 in the evening because I had a condensation leak in the basement with my old York system. He stayed here and took care of the leak so that I didn't incur any more damage.

That is the kind of customer service that this company provides. I highly recommend them and have known them for 20 years.
Every technician that has ever been to my house, and there have been at least four different ones, has been an expert in his field and knew how to handle the problem I was dealing with. They kept an old York system running for 21 years and when it was time to buy a new system, the choice was obvious. I went with Maichels.

I've used these guys twice. The first time was to drill a hole in my basement and run vents outside to dispel the exhaust from my dryer unit. I received a reasonable quote from David, and the technician who completed this project was diligent, attentive and hardworking. The second time, I had a tenant call during the winter and tell me that the heater stopped working. Maichles dispatched someone to the property immediately and fixed everything promptly. I would highly recommend this company for their quality and professionalism.
