Hired Mai Plumbing twice recently and they are one of the most honest and professional plumbing companies I have ever worked with.

First- they were able to resolve a cleaning pad jammed down the toilet bowl within minutes (myself and a handy-friend could not find it after taking the toilet apart ourselves and giving it an honest effort with a wire-hanger), and were able to do quite a lot of other small items around the house for the 1-hour service minimum they were scheduled for.

Second- they were able to find and resolve an underground leak on my front lawn, right next to a large tree, and fix this very quickly, with one of the owners who personally came and helped the 2-person crew finish the job very efficiently (without charging me a higher hourly rate). I breathed a huge sigh of relief that they were able to take care of all the digging and cleanup in addition to the plumbing work.

I would recommend them to anyone for plumbing services large and small!

Great service! We moved our refrigerator in anticipation of getting a new one the next day. The water line for the ice maker could not be turned off and we couldn't fix it because it was soldered on. We had to turn off the water to the house and find someone to fix it ASAP. We called several companies, one telling us they could be out in a week. Mai Plumbing, however, gave us a window of time that they could be out that very day. They arrived early during the window, fixed the problem promptly, the plumber was very professional, and it was a very reasonable price. We recommend them highly,

I called them yesterday because my kitchen sink was leaking, and they were able to schedule an appointment for me today. Someone showed up within the window of time they gave me and quickly fixed my sink. He was also very nice! I will definitely call them back in the future if I have any new problems arise.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to give these guys a big thumbs down. We've had them out twice now for the same issue. It's only a week and a half after we just had them out for the second time and the same exact problem is happening again. I've spent $500 with them and we are back where we started. I won't be giving them a third chance.

Karl & his team are awesome. I originally called them on recommendation from several neighbors via Nextdoor & I am glad I did. Every time I've needed them to check something out, they have been there within a day. They do quick, clean, honest work & I will never call any other plumber as long as I live in Dallas. I've had them unclog drains, replace my old main gas line, and clean up messes that my pool contractors plumbers created. If you need a plumber these are your guys!

Mai Plumbing is my residential and commercial plumber for over ten years. They are always on time and there are no surprise on the work order and the amount charged!!

We used these plumbers for a gas leak we had. While their work seemed ok, I've never dealt with a ruder company owner. Obviously, with a gas leak, it is an emergency situation and we had to get someone out fast. They were several days into the work when the owner, Carl, was first rude to me. He was telling me that they might have to rip up our deck to fix the gas line. He was quick to point out that they would not be fixing it. I'm not a carpenter! He exclaimed loudly and rudely. I had not asked him if they were going to fix it, he just let me know. He also then said, "for example, if we have to rip up a wall, we won't fix that." "We are not repairmen!" He again stated. At that point I was wishing we had used someone else, but it was too late. At the end of the work, it took Carl several days to get us the bill. When it arrived, it was $4700.00.
About two days after we got it, Carl called to ask when we would send the money. I asked,"Can I write you a check for $2000.00 today?" NO!! he practically shouted at me. "I'm not a bank!" "We don't do that-I'm out of pocket for this, etc." At this point I had not lost my temper at all, I was politely asking. "So I need to pay all of it today?"
I asked. His answer was a very rude "Yes!-absolutely". I mailed the check and hoped to never deal with them again. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. During this process, somehow our gas fireplace will now not light. I had called several repairmen, including an electrician thinking it might be the switch that didn't work. The electrician explained that there was a gas valve that was not on. Since we had already paid Mai plumbing $4700.00, I called Carl to see if they could come out and see about getting the valve fixed. He said he could probably come out, and when I asked if he would charge for that, he went back into rude mode. "We didn't break it!" He literally yelled at me. "We don't work for free!" He then tried to say the fireplace was already not working when they came the first time, which absolutely is not true. He was literally yelling at me, laughing at me, and not letting me get a word in at all. We will never use this company again. There are lots of plumbers, it's definitely worth it to look around for one who is able to use common decency.
