Completely undependable - find another plumber. Made a reservation a day in advance for a plumber from Magnolia to come to our home in SE Washington on 12/20/2023 for a backed-up outdoor storm water drain. The morning of the visit, they pushed the time back 3 hours, and an hour after than cancelled altogether. I postponed the reservation to this morning, December 29, 2023, and this morning they again called to push back the reservation to a time this afternoon I could not be available. Two days off of work totally wasted, and I still have a clogged drain. I don't care how good their work is - work they don't do is the worst work possible. Find another plumber.

I had a plumbing issue arise on a Friday afternoon. I called Magnolia. They would not give an estimate over the phone. We scheduled a visit during a window of 10 AM to 1 PM the following Monday. The plumber didn't show. The service called at the end of this window to move it to 2 PM to 5 PM. The plumber didn't show. The service called and we rescheduled to a window of 10 AM to 1 PM the next day. The plumber showed at about 1 PM. The quote for the work was astronomical, not anywhere in line with what other plumbers charge. I waited four days and wasted a day and a half just to learn Magnolia Plumbing charges highway robbery rates.

HVAC with this branch office of Magnolia is a simple, honest business. Danyelle is organized, responsive, and helpful, Oscar and Fred are considerate and communicative. Fred recently came for a routine maintenance check that became a service call, but he was on time, wore shoe covers, diagnosed efficiently, and even came back after driving an hour out the same evening (a rainy Saturday) because something wasn't working, and he was dedicated to ensuring that the system was operating. His follow-up meant a lot to us; when we said ""sorry for inconveniencing you with two calls out on the same job already wrapped"" he said ""it's just part of the job"" and was as nice as ever. He also fixed the issue within a few minutes. We're so glad to have reliable, outstanding HVAC experts like Fred on the job. He really knows his stuff, and is kind, skillful, and conscientious. The maintenance calls you hope for, but can rarely find. Ask for Danyelle, Oscar, or Fred. Exemplary HVAC experience, and we've been in our house since the 1960s. Thank you for your excellence, Fred! We think ""You're 24 carrots!"" :)

First and foremost - do not use this company. Use another company with good reviews. Maybe Brian B quick--I've heard good things about them from folks. Magnolia is the absolute worst. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. Oversold us a new HVAC unit ($20k!!!) that we didn't really need but they said would fix all these issues for us, and then failed to install it properly in the dead of summer with a baby in the house. I waited until my warranty was over to do this review. But their installation and the back and forth negotiations after their failures caused my family so much unnecessary grief and stress. There is no way I could use this place again. Just don't do it. It's VERY expensive, customer service absolutely sucks, and most importantly, they used unskilled people to do their work. The maintenance is the same - unskilled folks come to your house saying everything is good when you know it's not, but they can't find the problem. I also had their plumber come out to look at an issue - and the same problem. They couldn't figure it out. There is no reason whatsoever to use this company.

I called to have work done on my AC unit in my attic. The technician stole property out of my attic while he was up there. I contacted the company and after giving me the run around they told me that they would do nothing about it.

We discovered our gas water heater wasn't venting correctly, almost at all, once it was turned back on after some gas main work. Being an incredible hazard to our family, we left the gas off and began contacting companies to assist.

With a late afternoon call, Magnolia quickly scheduled us for early the next day and Darrick and Rebeca arrived at the top of the scheduled block. They were polite, friendly, and very helpful in ensuring we understood the issues and solutions present. In addition to the gas water heater, they also inspected the other plumbing fixtures in our house to check for any issues and gave a few recommendations.

For the heater, they recommended a new water heater (ours was a year out of warranty), as well as fixing a few of the lingering issues we've had since we bought the place. The cost felt very reasonable to us considering it was a water heater upgrade, repiping, a new chimney liner, and a new pressure valve for our home ($6400 in total). It knocked off about 6 line items we've had lingering and it felt great to get them all resolved in a single trip.

They finished the water heater the day they came, and the chimney liner folks came out the next morning to finish the job. I'm super pleased with the team we worked with!

Tan Cao is amazing! We returned from our vacation last week to find our HVAC motor was dead. We called our usual team, who was not responsive, so we decided to try someone new and called Magnolia. Magnolia was responsive and thorough and exceeded our expectations.

Tan Cao was the rep who came out to fix the motor. He was professional and efficient. When a part was unavailable and had to be ordered, Tan somehow was able to track one down and returned the next morning to complete the job.

When our usual team finally responded, the repair quote they provided was $500 more than Magnolia's. We signed up for an annual contract on the spot. Thank you, Tan!

Oscar Lopez is phenomenal! He came back on a Saturday to make sure my HVAC system was working. Who wants to work on a Saturday? Oscar! He is conscientious and stands by his word. Right on time and stayed until the job was done. Now I'm finally chilling ! Thanks for outstanding service !!!! I couldn't be happier and just in time for the heat wave!
