Manny was the second plumber I called because my main drain was clogged. He came out and snaked it several times & could not clear it. He did not charge me anything because he couldn't fix the problem. He recommended I call his friend Robert. Big mistake, but you live & learn.

You know when you have one of those weeks when everything comes together this was the week and Manny from Magic Rooter helped it happen. My daughter was under a time crunch to get projects done in her condo before move in so I looked up Magic Rooter saw the 5 star reviews and they deserve every star. Not only did he come by to work on the plumbing issues the next morning but pointed out things that were working fine and did not need attention and fixed things that he saw was a potential problem which we appreciated! Manny and his assistant were professional and curtious and left the place without a trace that they had been there except for totally fixing the problems. Manny is wonderful. Several months back, for an emergency call, he responded within hours (he happened to be close and we live in Lincoln Heights) and sorted out our plumbing needs immediately. He came out again today to help us with roots in our very old clay pipes and went above and beyond for both temporary and long term rooting needs, offering solutions and advice. He gave us great counsel about what we need to do in the long term and was super reasonable. If you live on the east side and need plumbing help we could not recommend him more. I'm a General Contractor. Finding an honest and affordable rooter guy is key when I have a sewer problem. Yesterday, I found a difficult main sewer clog on a client's job in Eagle Rock. I contacted Manny (independent rooter), he came out, did an inspection, marked the sewer line locations gave me some insight in what needed to be done. Based upon his knowledge, we installed a new clean out at the position he indicated. The next day, Manny came cleared the clog investigated the downstream terminus. He's a truly honest rooter guys in the area. It was a pleasure working with him!!
If you have a rooter issue, hire him and trust his expertise.

After looking for a plumber on Yelp noticed that Magic Rooter was one of the only companies that had LEGIT reviews. I called and made an appointment with Manny... Wow I was impressed. He was professional, clean and knew what to do. (As I had another plumber that said the leak would continue unless I changed all piping which would cost too much... LIES)
Anyhow, Manny even wore shoe covers to enter my house. He completed all work with a fair price and timely manner. No bs... I would definitely recommend Manny especially if ur in highland park. I will be keeping him in my phone book. Real review no fake stuff over here.

First of all Manny was awesome at communication. He got right back to me, scheduled an appointment, and showed up on time. He even texted a few minutes beforehand to say he was on his way. These are small things that I've really come to appreciate in a contractor. I know that plumbers, electricians, and people with valuable skills are in high demand these days, so I'm somewhat accustomed to being stood up, or cancelled on when a bigger better gig comes up. So when someone skillful and communicative like Manny shows up I don't take it for granted. My job was simple, just a little bit of preventative maintenance on my cleanout. He did the job quickly and at a great price, then we chatted about muscle cars and driver safety. Haha. Total pleasure.
