We've used Magic Plumbing for the past 6 years for big jobs to small jobs. They've helped to put in a new pump system (which was very intense work), fixed leaking toilets, and cleared multiple clogged drains over the years. I have to say Jeremy delivers! He's professional and gets the job well done. Highly recommended.

I had used Magic Plumbing for about 8 years, and up to recently they have worked out pretty well. A few weeks ago they charges $500+ for an hour to run a copper tube to the refrigerator. This past week we hired them to remove an old toilet and install a new one. They charges $86 for a supply tube, which is about $5 on Amazon. They also didn't set the seal properly, and we had sewer gas leaking. They didn't want to take responsibility for it, but they did reseat the toilet. The continued to try to say the problem was something coming through the wall (a coat closet) or the basement (we are on a concrete slab). When I argued that the smell started when they put in the toilet, the guy walked out on me, and slammed 2 doors. They have become so unprofessional, it is both sad, and good reason to not use them. There is plenty of competition in this business.

Bernadino and his partner did an excellent job on a sewage pipe backup issue. They were very professional, timely, friendly, honest, and patient in explaining things. After the job was done, they cleaned up. Much appreciated! Thank you! I will definitely ask for Bernadino again in the future.

I was having several problems with my toilet so I called Magic Plumbing on Monday morning. They were able to have a plumber to my condo within 2 hours. I even received a text letting me know he was on his way. Adam was his name. After a quick inspection he gave me two options, to rebuild or replace. I decided to replace. Adam was able to schedule me for the next morning at 9am. He was punctual and had my new toilet installed within 15 minutes. Very professional and friendly. And I'm very happy with the new toilet.

Jerome came out and installed new water pipes and drain hookup for a washer dryer. Fair price and he completed the job relatively quickly and my laundry is working problem free. Thanks.

I wish I could give less than one star! I had such a terrible encounter with Magic Plumbing that is has not only impacted me, but my WHOLE building - that's right 26 apartments! I hired Mr. Rooter to do work on my apartment and we went through the HOA association to turn off the water for the entire building (which is what is legally required). The HOA hired Hetherington Plumbing to turn off the water on and off, because that is who they typically use to conduct such services. Another apartment, taking advantage of the water turn off, hired Magic Plumbing to put in a shower box. Rather than waiting for Hetherington, Magic turned off the water themselves. Then, when they were done with their repairs, they turned the water back on after an hour (WITHOUT waiting for my work to be done- the work that gained permission for the water to be off for two hours). Then they did NOT drain turn the hot water back on properly, so the ENTIRE building was without hot water, affecting all 26 units. When Magic was called to alert them of their malfeasance (within two hours), they refused to send someone out to remedy their mistake, rendering the building with no hot water for 24 hours. They ignored legal requirements by turning off the water without the HOA's permission and they refused to immediately remedy their gross error. Please do not use them. Use a company that has higher ethics.

I use Magic Plumming for a leak from my garbage disposal . The appointment was very easy to make and quick which was nice . Two men showed up and immediately went to work . They were not gentle with anything to say the least. One guy just about pulled my installed garbage can on tracks out by blindly yanking it until I told him it was screwed in. Of course I was told the entire garbage disposal had to be replaced - but after installing it , it was still leaking . Then I was told there was a crack in the connecting elbow. So that had to be changed as well . They worked quickly and were professional and friendly , however , I felt the pricing was a bIt too high . Total cost - $475.00!!

To begin with these guys are not cheap but prompt and pros they are and in SF that's more than half the game. Thanks to being booked for immediate service, thanks for being on time, thanks to Adam who had history in my building and the kitchen sink plumbing design, thanks for Adam's free insight and tips and thanks for the professionalism - pipes pulled and drain properly snaked (twice). This could've been a real pain with loads of unnecessary delays and extra costs. Good plumbers are hard to find and I can safely recommend these guys.
