Company Overview
Magee Brothers Plumbing began in the early 20th century by Terry Magee, along with his brother Peter, children of an Irish immigrant, using their bicycles in Hempstead, New York. Terry raised a total of 13 kids, 5 of whom were boys, who would take charge of Magee Bros Plumbing, purchasing plumbing trucks and setting up an office. Magee Bros has remained in the initial site, owned by the family, since then. Currently, 5 Magees are licensed master plumbers, Terry's grandkids, managing the operation.
Magee Bros caters to every plumbing issue on Long Island, NY, serving both Nassau and Suffolk counties. We provide for commercial and residential plumbing needs, which includes hot water heater installations, drain cleaning services, leak repairs, water main repairs, and any other plumbing problem you may face. Each of our plumbers has master certifications.
Mr. Corey Magee is John ""Jack"" Magee's son (who is Terry Magee's son). Jack and Winnie were parents to seven kids, including 5 sons and 2 daughters. The male children grew up in a plumbing environment and were taught that the only thing that would stop work was church on Sunday mornings. Doing plumbing work every day of the week from a young age, plumbing became second nature to them. Following Jack's passing in 1999, the reins of the business were passed to Corey for management. Corey, his mother Winnie, and the rest of the Magee boys continue to run this business today.

Magee Bros put a heating and air unit in my house. I had nothing but trouble. They put a attic unit instead of one for house unit.
My floors are rotted . My water heater is tilted because they did not put pluming in correctly. Everytime someone came out to fix they could not understand why the person before them did such crappy work.
I highly do not recommend Magee.

Tammy H.I moved another appointment around just to sit home for two hours. I finally got a call four minutes before the close of the window to be told they weren't coming.
I was placed on hold then I was talking to one of the owners without knowing someone new was coming
on the line. He apologized and stated that his later appointments can tend to be a problem. He even offered to come another day.
I understand that things happen, but a call sooner would have been better. I waited a couple of days just to give my business to a local company in hopes of building a relationship. In the end, it's not what you do, but how you treat people. This was not a good first impression.
