My search for a trustworthy, reliable and competent plumbing expert is finally over! Mr. Ahmed El Ghoraiby is a customer-focused Master Plumber with the right mix of competence, experience, and patience.

As a DIY'er, it pains me to overpay for average work that I could do myself and when I can't do a job or am unable, I struggle to find the right pro. Out of necessity, I attempted to replace a broken toilet flange and after working in a tight space for hours-replacing the PVC and hardwood floors and resetting a new toilet, I was despondent when I discovered a tiny leak from the PVC joints from the first flush.

After pulling myself together from the moral defeat, I reassessed the situation and knew I needed help from someone experienced and flexible. I spent hours scouring Yelp and Google looking for a pro who wouldn't rip my floors out and charge me an arm and a leg and was thrilled when I came across Mag Plumbing and Mr. Ahmed.

He was responsive to my call and text messages and quoted me a competitive price for the job. As a bonus, he was willing to come the same day in the late afternoon after working other customer projects. When he got a good look and started working, we both realized that the project was more complicated than we anticipated and spent the next three hours tackling the job in a very tight and limited space. After verifying the leak was fixed and putting on the finishing touches, I was relieved to be done with this difficult repair. To my surprise, Ahmed honored the original estimate he provided me even though there is no way any other plumber would have! That never happens nowadays and that is why my search for a competent pro is over.

Ahmed solves problems with good cheer and a reasonable price. He came to fix a couple of plumbing issues and did a few handyman tasks as well. He wastes nothing: He replaced only part of a broken water dispenser and left me with replacement parts for the future. He works hard and talks easily. Genuine. He will be back the next time the plumbing needs help.

I had to get a new shower installed and MAG did an absolutely amazing job. I am really happy with the service provided. They were really nice, helpful, answered all my questions, and explained to me step by step what needed to be done. The prices were very reasonable. The shower works perfectly now with no issues. I cant say enough great things about the guys at MAG. They came in gave me an excellent price and was able to start the job only 3 days after quoting. It only took a few hours to reroute the plumbing for the main floor and master bath. I cannot wait to work with them on the next phase of our remodel.

Mr. Khaled was the third plumber to be sent by our home warranty company for a stoppage in the master bath. The first two were not able to solve the problem, and advised us we were probably looking at a full-blown pipe replacement situation.

After listening to the problem, Mr. Khaled explained what he thought could be wrong, and what he could do about it. We started with the simplest option, which was to snake the drain. Problem = solved. You'd think the other two would have suggested this, right? Just goes to show, not all plumbers are created equal!

We came in contact with MAG Plumbing & Remodeling through our home warranty company, and I am thrilled that we did! Ahmed called me the & scheduled an appointment, and showed up promptly & was able to take care of our problem quickly & efficiently! It's easy to be worrisome when it comes to home repairs, but Ahmed really was able to put us at ease. The work area was left just the same way it was when work was started, and we were able to fix the hole that needed to be created (that started our leak) with ease! Ahmed was a lifesaver. I needed help with a gas pipe on a Saturday morning, and he arrived quickly and with all the right tools. He gave me an honest appraisal and assured me that the (more expensive) repair I thought I needed, actually was not necessary -- saving me over $150. I also asked him to look at a leaky toilet, which he was able to repair as well (and did not charge the usual total price for that job, since he was already here). Ahmed was pleasant, direct and professional. I will definitely call on MAG again if a plumbing or other issue arises in my condo.

I had a showerhead with weak water pressure. I called my home warranty service and got this plumber from MAG. The plumber told me to replace my showerhead saying that it's clogged up and cannot be cleaned and was going to charge me $225 to replace and install the showerhead. I decided to replace it myself and while trying to see how to take off the showerhead, I took it off and put it back to find that a portion of the showerhead was a little loose. I tightened it and put it back and the showerhead work just fine.

Almost got ripped off by this plumber, horrible experience.
