I just had my kitchen and 2 bathrooms gutted and constructed by Madsen. My house was built in 1926.
From initial contact, selection of materials, the installation, they were a true joy.
I will say they are honest, totally anal, have the best carpenter, plumber, tile installer, I could have ever hoped for.
Most importantly, they care.

Horrible company, horrible customer service, horrible communication, I would not do business again with them, made promises, not kept, sale persons did not follow up when promised to deliver items, no responses to text/emails until I shorted final payment which finally got a response. You can buy the same items a lot less expensive at other places, would recommend Ferguson if you planning on a remodel.

Joe carefully designed and planned creative use of every inch in my small kitchen. Steve DeSantis repaired damage done by former contractor and expertly did all the carpentry and installation of drywall, new window, new exterior doors and cabinets. Ashley and Jim coordinated and supervised all the many details and offered expertise if needed, and coordinated timelines for multiple sub-contractor professionals (plumbing, electric, mason, granite, insulation). Joe helped me select KCMA certified green white shaker cabinets in correct sizes. Ashley, Jim or Joe from Madsen on-site daily. WOULD RECOMMEND AND TRUST YOUR RENNOVATION TO MADSEN, INC. Joe is welcome to have prospective clients contact me as a reference.

I would not recommend this company. A few weeks ago, my 5 year old heater stopped working. I called Madsen because I had hired them in the fall to clean and service the unit. They quoted a really high price to have it fixed and they would not come back until the next day. I called another contractor who went to get the part in Broomall and fixed my heater within the hour. This contractor charged me less than a third of what Madsen had quoted. I was so thrilled for this honest contractor that I gave him a hundred dollar tip and it still costs me a third of the price.

i spent about 10 years ago much money to renovate my kitchenin my primary residence in NJ. a job well done. but when i reached out to this company recently to repair a water damaged cabinet in my kitchen, i received 0 response. absolutely incorrigible behavior to a past customer. i would never recommend this group to anyone except if you want 0 customer service

Great company, arrived quickly and on a few hours notice in an emergency situation. Tony was fantastic and figured it out within a half an hour and we were cooled down immediately in the dead of summer. Will use them again.
