We live in a home that is 101 years old. Last year we needed all our galvanized pipes changed out to copper in the whole house. Jose from Made In Chicago Plumbing did the whole job for us, he worked so hard from morning to late and did the job within three days. Was very responsive, respectful, hard worker, honest and neat. We also called him again this year to change out our toilet, sink faucet, shower faucet and laundry pipe. Did a great job, will only use him for all our plumbing and will recommend him highly. As people know it is so hard to find good trades people, his one you can always count on.

Jose from Made In Chicago Plumbing is very responsive. Within an hour of my call, he showed up at my house. He has 17 years of experience as a plumber, and he does high-quality work and offered a 6-month warranty on my bathtub faucet stem replacement job. I have used him once before a couple of years ago and will continue to call him for plumbing needs.

There's nothing worse than experiencing a hot water heater malfunction in the middle of a Chicago winter. Especially when your wife just worked out (needing a shower) and your kids haven't had their baths. Enter Jose. We made the call to Made In Chicago Plumbing. Jose was extremely fast to respond, treated our situation as something that required special, immediate attention, and very patient with me as I asked a bunch of ""engineer"" questions. Long story short, Jose was able to easily fix our issue and was respectful of us from a costing perspective not trying to play the add-on game. I would recommend Jose for your plumbing or water heater needs to anyone who would listen. This is a great gem of a company right here on the North Side. Keep this phone number handy!!! Don't believe 24/7 hours please, and here is a less than 5 star review. Oh and no 'senior discount ' either. My ejector pump needed replacing. Called 2/9 due to the 5 stars and 24/7 hours. Got an appt for 2/10, had that cancelled and pushed to 2/11. Mentioned in text I was 70 and wet vaccuming seepage unrelated to pump, slowly. When I paid the bill and went downstairs, mud was EVERYWHERE. No tarp on now muddy carpeted stairs. I've never had a workman leave a job in such filth. I PRAY he correctly replaced pump. Donezo. Unless pump work was also done poorly. See photos. Invoice reads ""Chicago Plumbing & Sewer"".

The best thing I can say about Jose from Made in Chicago Plumbing...is that he picks up when called and comes out! Not all plumbers pick up their phone. It's kind of embarrassing to say that I've had to call Jose out twice in the last 3 months for my tenant to rod out the kitchen sink and then to replace a bathroom faucet. The first time was on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, he picked up and came out within a couple hours. 2nd time was a Saturday evening, he picked up and came Sunday morning.

Fast forward to Polar Vortex 2019. Two separate friends had their pipes burst yesterday. I referred them to Jose. They called and he picked up the phone and fixed their pipes. So yea, the guy picks up the phone, does the job quickly. He texts to let you know when he is on his way, sends an email receipt afterwards.

I'm worried about him blowing up on Yelp - cause then he won't be able to help me when I call! (That happened to another plumber I like!)
