Dave Macy is the ""complete package"" as far as home repairs are concerned. Hired for some roofing work and bathroom fan installation. He did a great job under less than perfect circumstances. He is punctual, communicative, practical, and has great troubleshooting skills from his years of experience. I will be using his services extensively in making our home more livable and protecting our investment.

I agree with the last one star review. David Macy is unreliable. He missed an appointment on Monday that he called me multiple times to make sure someone was going to be at my store. I had two employers open the store at 8 am, 4 hours earlier than our usual start of shift. David Macy was a no show. I called. I left voicemail. I texted him. No reply for several days. He finally called me and told me that something came up. I inquired why he couldn't call or text me as life can throw a curve ball. He had no reply. He then tells me that he has organization problems.

So he apologized. I informed him that there was damage to the brand new equipment with his handprint embedded on the aluminum door of the equipment.

I told him I needed his insurance information and he refused. I told him that my insurance company would be calling him and he said he wouldn't answer the phone.

This guy still wanted to get paid. I told him that he should pay for the two employees who waited for 4 hrs. I told him that the damaged equipment needed to be replaced and he refused to give me his insurance information . He then cursed and ran out of my store and yelled ""watch out for Karma, I don't want your money!""

Many months later....

Today, he came by my store demanding for $500. He yelled profanities and made a huge commotion.

I am in the process of getting a Restraining Order.

The last review stated that he is closing his business. He is a bizarre fellow that needs mental help.

This guy is a con man not a handyman. He made me purchase hundreds of dollars of stuff and then did 1 small part of job and charged for shopping for hours but never came back saying he is closing his business.

We had our outside light replaced by David Manson, knowledgeable, outgoing, gentleman, who believes in keeping you up to date with his arrival time. Very helpful when you make plans ahead of time. I will be hiring for an project we have and will post the results when he finishes.

I was so happy to find a local vendor, who knows his stuff. Dave is friendly, professional and knowledgeable, and it's obvious he takes great pride in doing things properly. He mounted my TV, placing it exactly where I wanted it. And he's actually coming back to hang pictures and assemble furniture for me. So glad I found him!

David provided permanent working solutions to our Menchie's Frozen Yogurt

1) Malfunctioning automatic door closer
2) Malfunctioning emergency light system
3) A neon sign that was assembled incorrectly

David's quote of $45/hr was more than fair.

He saved us couple hundred dollars by providing a new automatic door closer that another customer did not utilize.

We are very satisfied with David's attention to details.

We plan to use him for our home once we finalize a list of tasks.
