on 7-18-23 our hot water heater was leaking. We called at 1 pm. Mac's Plumbing came at 2 pm, left to get a new water heater. By 6 pm it was
installed. The two workers - Juan and Geo - were very nice. They explained their work clearly and answered all of our questions. They made an effort to not track dirt into the house by laying down brown paper from our front door all the way down the basement stairs. I would use them again!

Charged me $200 to connect my washer-dryer hoses back to the wall (they were taken off to do some work on the wall behind, and unfortunately, the contractors didn't reconnect them). As a mom with a little baby with little sleep, and loads of laundry piling up, I turned to a professional to ask for help as my husband was stationed out on duty-travel, and I couldn't figure out how to do this simple task. I understand the need to charge for a service call, but this was literally a 5-min task. He got done and asked for $200. I asked him why it was so high, and he said it was part of a flat-fee to make a service call and then make the ""repair"".

I was flabbergasted, since he didn't really repair anything but didn't want to argue with him and just paid him and sent him on his way. Will never call/engage this company again, it felt like a rip-off and just plain shady that he would charge so much. Looks like he's more worried about making money, than establishing a business relationship with his customer.

I called Mac's Plumbing for an issue with our sump pump. There was water sitting and swirling in the pit. It was hot, shouldn't be that hot. When I called I was told there is a $45 service fee, okay fine. When Malcolm arrived he told me the service fee was $150. When I asked what happened to the $45 fee, he said that was just to look at the pump to tell me it isn't working. So basically you're charging me $45 to tell me something I already know. If it was working I wouldn't have called you. Then he tells me the pipe had come disconnected. He said he fixed it. The swirling stopped. There was also a beeping on the battery pack to which his solution was to ""just unplug the battery pack and the beeping will stop."" THAT IS NOT A SOLUTION! They then charged me another $150 for reconnecting the pipe. Fine. Then it gets good... He proceeded to tell me that the sump pump was so old that they didn't even make that kind anymore and that it would be $2500 to replace it. Also, that our battery needed to be replaced with a specific kind that would be $400. He didn't bother to tell me that the existing battery was already that kind of battery he was recommending. I declined both because it just felt shady to me. He left. One hour later the swirling and the beeping started again, so he actually didn't fix anything and charged me $300 for NOTHING. I decided to get a second opinion from FH Furr. They came next day. Told us that yes the pipe was disconnected, which Malcom had supposedly fixed the day before. FH Furr didn't charge a service fee at all. They also told me that our sump pump was only two years old and it was the best cast iron type money can buy - that we should get another 12-17 years out of it. He also said our battery was also only two years old and that we can easily take our battery to Auto Zone and they will recharge it for free. The only reason the battery was drained was because the system was working in overdrive because of the disconnected pipe. Problem solved in 30 minutes and $300. So now I'm out $600 for a problem that should have been fixed the first time for $300.

Had a clogged kitchen sink. We did not have to wait long to get an appointment and Milton's team arrived promptly as scheduled! Did great work, reasonably priced! They pointed out some other issues of which I was not aware and prepared estimates for those as well. I will definitely be using Mac's Plumbing again!

For our sewer repair, we got an 18k estimate from Micheals & Son and wanted a second opinon. Milton Chacon and his team at MAC's Plumbing did a fantastic job for less than half the price. They removed the toilet and ran a camera to locate the sewer line and find roots. They had the expertise to know it could not be a clean-cut to repair because piping kept crumbling so they broke the concrete floor and removed gravel and dirt to expose the line and found a strong, good connection to tie into the new repair with PVC piping, and tied into the outside sewer as well. Backfilled inside and patched concrete also backfilled outside as well. We were very impressed with the work ethic and knowledge shown and also speed and just likability. I liked how he used texting and email to communicate, too. We would definitely use them again!

I've dealt with a couple of plumbing companies in the area and this is by far the worst plumbing service I've received-hands down. Late, unprofessional, and lack basic plumbing knowledge/common sense.

Mac's you can lumping team showed up to my residence today on time and charged $125 to replace a 2 dollar washer. Repair work time took less than 30 minutes and they gave me an estimate of $375 to replace a $45 part that would require half an hour of labor. Way overpriced!

I can't recommend Mac's Plumbing at all. Milton arrived late, but didn't call ahead saying they would be late. It got worse, they didn't fix the vibrating sound the cold water pipe was causing, instead they replaced the valve on the hot water pipe. Not surprisingly, it didn't fix the problem and the sound is still there. Milton was supposed to unclog the bathtub and replace the stopper. He did the first, but the stopper was a manual one, not the type that uses the switch to move the stopper up and down. The prices seem a little high, probably inflated then reduced if they did more than one job. Lastly, Milton refused to stand behind his work, suggesting fixing the hot water valve was enough. It wasn't.

I found Mac's plumbing via Google and can attest to all the positive reviews and accolades. I had a faucet repair and Milton was extremely knowledgeable, kind and explained how he went about repairing everything so that I myself was informed. During my appointment, Milton also noticed my toilet was making a strange sound (which I was already aware of and have been wanting to get checked out, but have just been putting if off) and volunteered to take a look. Lo and behold, I no longer have that strange sound. :) Following my appointment, Milton also followed up to check-in and ensure everything was going great with the repairs. I will definitely be using Mac's plumbing again and have already provided Milton's information to family and friends!

Milton is a ""SME"" Subject Matter Expert when it comes to Plumbing removal & installing bathtub. Installing fixtures faucet, shower head and the knob for Hot/Cold water for the tub. Milton advised me of what was needed. He texted me pictures explained to me of the products that I needed to purchase. I was so thankful for his suggestions. Milton customer service was beyond superior. Professionalism, Punctual Responsive & excellent Quality Service. I highly recommend Milton to all that's in need of a ""Dynamic"" Plumber. Also, he 's a mentor to his son training to him to follow his footsteps. A family business that's growing.
