These guys had a fair estimate, communicated well, worked very hard, and showed up when they were supposed to. What more could you ask for? Yes, I would call them again, and recommend them to Mom, a close friend, etc.

I have used Mac's Plumbing twice in the past 3 months, and both times I received excellent, professional service at a reasonable price. Mike was our plumber both times, and was very knowledgeable and fixed our problems quickly and thoroughly. Today I had a time-sensitive problem and he showed up within 20-30 minutes of my call for help. With this level of service and professionalism I will use Mac's for all of my plumbing needs.

Waited a week for a bid and when I received it, it avoided any liability for the roof penetration. When I emailed back to have that corrected, I was informed that they got another job last night and no longer could fit me in the schedule... This was a $3,500 job, not a drain clear. Very unprofessional, I would not recommend.

Eight months after a major bathroom remodel, and thousands of dollars, everything backed up into the shower, no toilet. Called for emergency assistance at 1:30; called two hours later to inform us that they couldn't come for TWO days. Called Greekz Plumbing, who offered to come by after their next job TODAY. I said tomorrow morning would be swell. You don't always get what you pay for.

I recommend Mac's Plumbing to anyone who is looking for a good plumber on Oahu. Mac's Plumbing installed a sub-meter for us so that we could save money on our water bill. This way we don't have to pay Hawaii sewer fees on our irrigation water. Mac's Plumbing went out of their way to get all the paper work signed for us (several permit versions required by the City). Mac showed up on schedule, did a great job with the installation and was really nice! I've tried several other local plumbing companies and I have to say, Mac's is by far the best!

The last thing we needed was our water heater going out, so when I walked into the laundry room and there was a growing puddle on the floor we started to looking online for a plumber. As much as I like Yelp, when I saw all the five star reviews made me a bit skeptical about calling Mac's Plumbing. I mean, who gets that many good reviews? We ended up calling a few other companies, but Mac's was the most professional and responsive so we ended up going with them. I can truly say that Dave (who owns Mac's Plumbing) lives up to all the great reviews. We got an estimate over the phone, then Dave came down to check what hardware was needed before the installation and confirmed the estimates. He brought someone else to install the water heater, but came before and after the job to inspect everything. He also was very helpful and gave us some advice on how to fix another problem with the pipes that we'd been having (and it worked)! Mac's does big and small jobs, and if I ever need plumbing work done he'll be the first one I call. As another Yelper said, they are professional and extremely trustworthy.

We had some scheduling issues otherwise I would have given them five stars. The work they did to set up for our bathroom re-model, and some work in my workshop, was all excellent work. The plumber was very proficient, explained exactly what he was doing, and everything was cleaned up thoroughly before he left. They will be my first call when I need a plumber in the future.

One word: Lifesaver! David was professional, honest, thorough and personally ensured the project was finished (which I can't say for the previous plumbing team that walked away...) I have already recommended David to two of my Kailua friends and I would pass his name to anyone looking for a quality result!!!

This is the second major job Mac has completed at my house. He and Mike are great the work with. Mac is completely trustworthy 100%. Outstanding work, my Father was a state building inspector and he states the work completed is excellent. I had to go to the mainland during this 3 day job and it was easy to trust Mac with completing the job successfully.
