I rarely post reviews but for Mac's Plumbing I needed to make an exception. We initially received quotes from four highly rated companies, but it was Steve from Mac's Plumbing who was the most knowledgeable and provided the most competitive bid. The team assigned to the installation and design of our new HVAC system, Garrett and Eli, who we nicknamed the A-Team, were outstanding. They arrived on time and completely cleaned up at the end of each day. Most importantly, the superior quality of their work and their redesign of our duct work has completely changed our living environment. We've lived in our house since the early 90's and there are rooms, including our living room and a bedroom, that we stayed out of during the summer. It's 108 degrees outside right now, and every area of our home is the same pleasant temperature. It's unbelievable! 30 years we've lived here, and this is the first summer I've been able to sit down and read a book in the living room! Bottom line... Superior Workmanship, Superior Service, Superior Company.

I needed a plumber to repair my sad attempt at installing a garbage disposal. After calling others who were backlogged for two weeks, I called Mac's. The receptionist was kind and expressed an understanding of my embarrassing predicament. She scheduled a repair for 8:00 a.m. the following morning.

Isaac arrived, was clean and efficient, and fixed my dripping garbage disposal without breaking a sweat. He was professional and knowledgeable.

When a plumbing, air conditioning, or heating challenge raises its ugly head, I will call Mac's first for an affordable and quality repair!

We recently hired Mac's Plumbing to fix several broken water pipes in our mountains house. Their office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and provides excellent customer service throughout the process.

Our gas water heater started leaking and we wanted to upgrade to a more energy-efficient heat pump. Every single thing was top notch about Mac's. The after hours line was kind and passed on my message. The very next day Tony called me and thoughtfully worked with me to find the soonest appointment for an estimate. Then the owner of the company Steve came out and was so efficient. He immediately said what we had wanted to do was a ""no brainer"" and set us up. We had 2 other companies out, but needed to keep looking. One had a bunch of salespeople that wasted so much time using scare tactics, etc. The other was doubtful we could move the water to the garage at all and was way more expensive. We researched, and all of Mac's reviews were true. They were trustworthy from the get-go, and so kind and professional. Shannon called us to try to schedule us in sooner due to the emergency and it was so nice she kept us in mind. Then our team was Ed and Nate. What a great pair. Ed is an utmost professional and is so personable with how he guided us and made sure exactly what we wanted to have done and then educated us afterwards on how to use our system. Ed even taught me about our trees and used a ladder to get ripe fruit down for us. Nate dealt with gross stuff without complaint (dead squirrel in attic) and educated us on our pipes and gave us great feedback on what has likely happened with our a/c system (unrelated to this job) and what we want to look out for. They both also were very willing to answer an unrelated question I had about our shower and gave me great and thoughtful advice about this. On top of it, Ed and Nate were as kind, cool, and professional as could be. They were even understanding when THEY were on time to start the day but WE weren't. No other company came precisely when they said they'd come like Mac's. From start to finish, Mac's was a joy to work with. Thank you all!

Excellent work and Amazing service!! Had a new HVAC system put in last week and couldn't be happier. Our old system was working fine, but we wanted to be proactive and get it replaced before it breaks. Did lots of research and can truly say that we picked the right company to do the job .

Quote/ Contract - Steve was always available to answer any of our questions.

Installation - Nate and Ed were very professional, meticulous, courteous, knowledgeable and informative. Gave us the rundown on what to expect each day, kept everything clean and delivered a flawless system as promised.

Inspection 1 - we needed this done asap so Shannon coordinated with the sub contractor and got us scheduled right away.

We've done lots of house projects and this was one of the smoothest process ever.

I am completely satisfied with the work done in my home by Mac's Plumbing, Heating & Air, from initial consultation and cost proposal with business owner, Steve; install coordinator and communications expert, Shannon; to the installer himself, Alvaro (AJ), who did an absolutely professional job replacing two toilets and one water heater, bringing the latter fully up to city code and passing city inspection with flying colors. Before he left, Steve assured me that Mac's Plumbing would take good care of me. And, they did! I was especially impressed with the diligent work by Alvaro who never failed to greet me with a cheerful smile and to remain positive and cheerful throughout a grueling day of single-handed removal, installation, testing for leaks, and thorough cleanup. Alvaro left my home in excellent condition, clean, modern, up-to-date, and leak free. I would not hesitate to call again or to highly recommend Mac's Plumbing, Heating & Air to others searching for honesty, integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness. Mac's capable teamwork ticked all the boxes!

I am so grateful for Mac's Plumbing. Steve came to give me quote on replacing heating ducts and waterline underneath my house. He was very nice & down to earth. He sent Nate and Ed to complete the task that took about 10 days. They were great! Very focused, professional, polite, people oriented, very organized and very detailed and informative on a daily bases where they were & what to expect the following day. They also had other helpers the last day or so to guarantee the quoted timeframe promised. I ended up switching from Bell Bros yearly maintenance program because of Nate and Ed to Mac's maintenance program. I felt confident in them everyday that things would get done and done Right! They completed the project today and I am very pleased with all their work. They were amazing! I would recommend them to anyone based on what they have done for me. Don't have pics to show yet.

Right from the start I felt like I was being taken care of by family! Steve came out we discussed my end goal and he made it happen with a great quote. Nate & Ed we're prompt, professional they kept me in the loop on everything that was going on. If it wasn't for the original work they were doing I would not have found out my foundation was being compromised by all the water. Again felt like family! Mac's Plumbing was a life saver! I lost hot water when I was expecting 15 guests for a Christmas gathering. Steve, the owner came out to inspect my hot water heater, for free. Steve gave me three different options and the next morning he had two technicians out to replace my water heater!

Garrett and Eli were wonderful! They had to do so much work and re-wiring! I was amazed at all they did. I was told it would take all day, probably 3:00 pm, and they were done by about 1:00!! YAY! Hot water in time for my first quests at 5:00 that afternoon!

I recently had a water heater replaced. Interestingly the quote I got from another company was $3000 for a 50-gallon gas water heater including installation. I thought this was a little high and elected to get another quote from a local (Elk Grove) company. Steve the owner came out and provided a much more reasonable quote for the same (Bradford White) 50-gallon water heater of $2397. By the way, Steve was very friendly and also provided helpful information regarding an issue I was having with my dishwasher. I also enjoyed talking to the installer AJ, he was also very friendly and provided answers to any questions I had. After the (Clean) install, AJ also took a look at our dishwasher and proceeded to do what he could to fix my problem with the dishwasher. By the way, this was free of charge! I would definitely recommend Mac's plumbing for future needs and will refer them to friends and family. We actually recommended AJ to my wife's mother for her water heater replacement. Especially since AJ speaks spanish! Thanks Mac's for a job well done!
