We needed a newly purchased water heater installed. Home Depot recommended this company, which is also known as Interstar, Inc. We were requesting quotes from other companies as well.

The installation was priced at $1,000 by the woman on the phone. She asked us questions about the new and old water heaters. I asked her how much the installation would cost without the removal of the old water heater. She said in a snotty tone, ""Doesn't matter. It's still $1,000. It's part of a package.""

They outrageously overcharge for installations. Permits, licensed contractor labor, and materials do not even add up to half of their price. Two other companies quoted us prices that were less than half.

The national average is between $1,200 and $2,300, according to Home Depot's website. This price includes acquiring a new water heater. This condescending woman was aware that we already have one.

We gave Macomb Water Heater a call and they were at our home a few hours later to install a new hot water heater. The installer was right on time and the service was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and polite.

Their estimate was a tad more than what we expected, but after looking at this company's five star ratings, we decided to hire them for the job. We are very happy we did. In the past, we purchased a hot water heater from a big box retailer and long story short, it wasn't the best choice.

Don't hesitate to hire this company. You'll be both satisfied and glad you did.

The lady who answered the phone was having a bad day I guess. I tried to get some information about replacing my water heater and she acted like I was begging her for money, a rudest customer service ever. I can't even imagine how she would act if I were to call to ask for favor or complain.... Stay away if you can.

Great, prompt service, couldn't ask for quicker better service, might be a bit pricier but not worth waiting two weeks for another company to come. Would recommend for sure!!

The installer came to my house to install a garbage disposal and refused to wear a mask. I offered one to him and he said he had one but wearing a mask made it difficult for him to breathe. So he potentially exposed my family to Covid 19! His blatant disrespect was disappointing. This company is a third party contractor for my local Lowe's.

We arrived home from vacation to find our water heater had sprung a leak. Not a great way to finish a vacation, but we called Macomb Water Heater and they sent Ivan out with a brand-new, 50 gallon Rheem unit.
Ivan was prompt, fast, meticulous and we had a brand new water heater installed in a little over an hour...on a Saturday. He was very conscientious, cleaning up as he worked and even took away the old unit with him! The price was extremely fair ($1150 complete) and we had a great experience. It comes with a warranty and they'll rush back out if we have any issues with the new unit.
You can't have a better service experience than this!

Since my tank was leaking at midnight, I googled and found Macomb Water Heater. BEST DECISION EVER to contact them. Being a Sunday morning, I called the number and sent them a message via their website. I was contacted within minutes. I explained my situation, they advised me, gave a price, and sent a quote immediately. They told me it could be replaced the same day and gave me a time window. After doing research on the water heater, I found out they had one with a 12-year warranty, instead of the one they recommended with a 6-year warranty. I contacted them via text and they confirmed that the water heater with the 12-year warranty was available for only an additional $200. Well, that was a no brainer. Best installer ever, very thorough, very clean, very neat. Highly recommended.

These guys were excellent. They provided me a quality product at a fair price. They were onsite at my house within an hour of calling them!?! My new water heater is working great, I would recommend these guys to anyone that needs a water heater.
