Having dealt with both good & bad contractors in the past and after reading the yelp reviews both positive and negative. I decided to pass on contacting Mackinaw plumbing, I don't need the surprises or issues it seems associated with this company & having to deal with Tahoe plumbing contractors is not something we want to undertake again.

Hired him for rough plumbing job for remodel, said he pulled plumbing permit but did not. Day after I fired him he tried to then pull permit, which is not legal. Billed for work not performed (fraud), billed for hours not worked, my surveillance cameras proved it. Will be taking legal action. Stay away!

We had water running from a stuck check valve on a Saturday night, I called Mackinaw Plumbing and he helped me troubleshoot the problem over the phone. We were able to keep the house running with water and Mackinaw plumbing came over on Sunday and fixed the problem. I would call them again if I have a plumbing problem.

Exceptionally responsive, very professional, expert workmanship. Don't need to say much more, but this company is great. I don't know if they can always be so quick to respond, but I called at 9AM, they were here by 1PM, and gone by 3PM, work done. Installed a new kitchen faucet and two new shutoff valves. Terry is both competent and very friendly! But all business. Couldn't be happier. Will call again when I need plumbing work.
