Chris A.Kenny is a quality guy who provides quality service. He and his team replaced my parents 90+ year old boiler in a timely and professional manner. And he's very personable and accommodating, which is equally important. Highly recommended
John A.MacKenzie to the rescue! This past Saturday I went to help my 80 yo Mom with some DIY. I needed to replace an old outside spigot shutoff valve with a new 90° valve. Everything went great until I tried to turn the water back on at the house side of the meter valve. The valve stem broke causing the valve gate to drop down. The handle just spun. Recently, Kenny & his crew just did an outstanding job installing a new gas boiler for my mom. We figured, fingers , we'd call Kenny. Kenny showed up in casual clothes. He assessed the situation, left, then returned with new parts. First we prayed as Ken had to attempt to turn off the street side of the meter water valve installed in 1930! With the patience & precision of a surgeon he got the job done! Again, he was in street clothes on personal time! He said he understood my mom would have had no water until Monday so he put his personal life on hold to serve my mom. Now that's customer service. I can't recommended MacKenzie Plumbing enough.
I've used Mackenzie's services previous for a quick fix with my shower also known for ""flat rates"", $50 for parts and $250 for labor which meant one person did the work and the two other guys stood around chit chatting.
Reached out again after the storm that hit the Bergen county on September 1st, reached a quote for a new replacement and to check for water damages. it's been 14 days since I've heard any form of communication in response. I've left 3 messages for their call services. Reached out to Ken myself as well. There's no excuse for poor customer service and especially not two weeks later.

We had a plumbing leak coming from our top floor bathroom that leaked a significant amount of water all the way down to our garage. Mackenzie plumbing sent two guys out right away. However, they were unable to identify the source of the leak on the first visit. On the second visit, they opened up the drywall in the ceiling of the garage to try and find the source of the leak. Unfortunately, they were still not able to locate the leak. It wasn't until we ran water from the top floor bathtub, that we were able to identify it as the source of the leak. Mackenzie came out a third time and was able to fix the leak, but had to take our bathtub faucet with them. They told us they would replace the bathtub faucet at their expense. It was also written on our receipt. After 5 weeks with no response from Mackenzie Plumbing, I called them and left a message and sent Ken Mackenzie 2 emails. A week passed and still no response from him. I then had to dispute the charge on my credit card and I was able to get some of my money back.
It's unfortunate they didn't follow through on what they said they were going to do for us. Ken kept saying he was going to replace the faucet at their expense, but he never did.
Ken and his team responded very quickly to my plumbing issue. They quickly found and resolved the issue very professionally. They thoroughly cleaned up. All the guys were really nice and I was very happy with their service.
Ed M.Just had Ken back for more work on the house. He did such a good job the first time that I called him back. The result was great again, the work was done in a timely manner and professionally. Ken turned a mess in my basement into a very neat and more functional plumbing setup. Definitely only plumber I'd use again.
