Spent more than an hour snaking the black junk of the the kitchen sink. Have me 30 warranty.

My sewer line was backing up into my basement and Macaulay Sewer Service came within 15 mins on a Friday evening. They were so knowledgeable and friendly and were able to fix the problem in no time. The price was very reasonable. If you have any sewer or drain problems don't hesitate to call them! I highly recommend them!!

Used him almost a year and a half ago when I first purchased my home built in the 50s. We knew it was a problem drain from the home inspection so after attempting all the solutions and unsuccessfully snaking it ourselves we called the pros. The drain would be good for a day or 2 then right back to being clogged again. It took him 3 times coming back to 100% fix the problem, but when he finally figured it out we haven't had an issue since. And when I called him the 2nd and 3rd time he was punctual and was just as nice as the first time he came over and got paid.

Wouldn't hesitate to call again. Very nice and professional, I just realized that after all this time I never left a review and he deserved it.

These guys are the best. I had a very slow drain in my master bathtub because my wife's hair wasn't being caught in the strainer. Called him in the evening and the next afternoon, he was here on time!

They Removed the drain and cleaned the hair. Quick and clean. Also, recommended something to help solve the hair catch problem. He considered it a courtesy service and simply said, ""when you have a real problem, call us"". WOW! This is officially my plumber for life now, no doubt about it.

George is ""the man."" A frozen sump pump drain left me with a flooded basement. We called these guys and they showed up pretty quickly. While we were busy cleaning up the mess, George and his helper were trying to break thru the blockage, cut through the pvc pipe for better access, even brought in the power snaking cable with cutting tip. But after about an hour he figured it wasn't going to give, he said he wasn't going to be able to break thru the ice (we could feel the cutting tip was cold), so he advised that I just wait it out until it thawed. He packed up and left (he installed a rubber coupler where he had cut the pvc), and did not charge me ANYTHING because he could not fix the problem. Wow... like another reviewer wrote, that's good old service that you really don't see much anymore. I would call him for the next job I have, no question. Honest and trustworthy, gave me a great impression.

In my opinion I'd say that you can be assured that George will do a great job for a fair price. I've learned that George does not do all sorts of plumbing work, I believe he is limited to drain clearing. Too bad because I'd have him over all the time!

I only rated one star since 0 stars wasn't an option. I had this company come to clear a blocked sewer line the day before Thanksgiving. They came that night and used a snake that came in sections and had to be assembled while the line was being cleared. The problem was the whole section had to be removed from the line before it could be disconnected. The result being the crap was flying everywhere and we had to call a professional cleaning service to clean it up. The invoice stated there was a 30 day guarantee. When the line backed up a week later, I called at 6pm and was told he would come tomorrow. Apparently sewage filling the 1st floor tub wasn't an emergency. When I said my tenants couldn't go all night and the next morning without being able to flush their toilets or take a shower he told me to ""tell your tenants to stop plugging the line and show some respect. And if I have to come out again I'm going to charge you."" I called Roto-Rooter, who came out that night and cleared the line (without making a mess) and the line has been fine for 3+ weeks now. I can only assume the line wasn't fully cleared to begin with. Don't call them for a sewer backup!

These guys were great.

Our kitchen sink was totally clogged. The first plumber we had could not remove the clog and told me that the entire drainage pipe in the basement would have to be replaced!

Mcaulay came the same day I called, got right to work, took care of the clog and left everything nice and clean. And all for a very fair price.

We had a new washing machine installed and it started backing up the first time we used it. I called Macaulay Sewer, George answered the phone and was able to come and fix it for me that day. He is extremely knowledgeable and provides great service! I can not say enough about George and his son and will continue to recommend their business.

I had two sinks backing up on a Friday and called several places for someone to come out. No one could come before Monday. When I called Macaulay Sewer, they said they would see me in about an hour. George and Jared showed up and got both my drains running again, repaired another problem and even cleaned up after themselves!

The cost was reasonable and I even got a 30-day guarantee that the drain would remain clear. I don't think I'll need it but it is nice to know they stand behind their work.

I definitely recommend these guys.

A1 Service !!! These guys come in a really take care of business. I have used them before and never had a platform other than word of mouth to really share my experience. Today my upstairs bathroom sink was backing up into my downstairs bathroom sink so basically they came in and found the correct pipeline . When they opened up the line all I heard was the loudest gush! Now some companies would have used those sound effects to describe something horrible and expensive but he didn't . These guys were not afraid to get their hands dirty to get the job done. The pricing was extremely fair in my opinion . They provided me with service within a couple of hours of my initial call, They had great attitude and made everything easy breazy . I will gladly call next time I am in a Jam.
