Maas & Sons
Company Overview
Dale Bruesewitz (Owner) started his journey in 1978 as a two-person crew working from home. He quickly recognized the demand for a larger facility with a showroom. The business moved to Chestnut Street, operating successfully for more than 20 years. Dale took over Maas & Sons in May 2000, a fourth-generation plumbing company in Waterford. This acquisition enabled Dale to provide services from two locations. This decision reinforced the family-owned tradition in Waterford and Burlington. In 2004, Dale relocated his Burlington operations to a larger facility on Milwaukee Avenue. By 2010, he sold the Burlington branch and the Bruesewitz Plumbing name to an employee. However, he retained the family-operated business, now known as Tyde Fource Inc dba Maas & Sons, at the Waterford site located at Hwy 36 & Hwy 20. Maas & Sons has proudly served the same location since 1945. We take pride in having family members from both the Bruesewitz and Maas families as part of our team. Water heater went out right before New Years - called Maas in the morning and they had service people out in early afternoon, swapped out the water heater, and got us going again fast. Recommend them!!
Excellent service for our bad well pump!
Completely cleaned up the old pipes and wires and water is rushing now!
Called for servicing our shower. Rudy came within the hour and completed the job in a timely manner. Their service price was more than fair. 10/10 would recommend and will use their service again.
Avoid at all cost...they will nickel and dime you . Not only will they charge you for one plumber but they send another one along for $75 a hour w/o my authorization. I bought my own toilet but they charged me for bolts and rings that come with it. AND a trip charge of $15 when they are approximately 4 miles from my home. I have cameras out there and i know they were not out there as long as they said. Todd the owner does not work with people STAY AWAY - AVOID
Rachel W.We had Maas and Sons install a new tub and surround also raised the shower head (Todd 2018) they were very knowledgeable and did the install in 2days. Haven't had any issues and price was the best around.
Noticed our basement drain was backing up into the basement called Maas and sons at (April 2nd 2019)8am and someone (Scott?) was here by 930am (wasn't an emergency I'm sure they would've shown up sooner if I told them it was as water wasn't actively filling my basement). Took under a hour for him to get the drain unclogged. Both gentlemen were extremely kind to my very curious boys. The bill was again very acceptable.
We like to buy local and Maas & Sons seemed very knowledgeable and thorough. Their billing dept., however, has much to be desired. They lost our check and then said they found it. Since they did not cash it for another month, I called as they were now charging us finance charges. They said there is nothing they could do and I owe the impending finance charges on their mistake - very poor customer service.
They charged me $200 and a I never authorized a well test! If they did do a test, I never got results. How do you like that? $200 for a phone call! Skip these people.
Having problems with a leaking holding tank installed by them 8 years ago.
Not responsive. Will not return calls.
