Just had my second occasion to use MT Dunn Plumbing in Hillsboro, and again couldn't be more pleased. One was standard interior plumbing work a couple of years ago (faucet replacements) and this morning was an emergency sump pump replacement. Mike Dunn and his staff are responsive and professional. I discovered my water heater gushing water at 10:30pm and called MT Dunn based on the NextDoor reviews and had a new water heater within 12 hours. I called Mike first thing in the morning and he shuffled around his schedule to accommodate my need. The tech that came out was friendly, on time and explained everything he had to do well. I am very thankful for the quick turnaround ! A 40-gal gas heater, with install and removal of the old one came to $1564 -- pricy, but it was done quickly and I'm happy with the result.

As avid DIY people, we always try to do the job ourselves first. When this didn't work out for us, I gave Mike a call. He gave me a bunch of tips and tricks to try, and said I could give a call back to schedule if I couldn't figure it out. We kind of laughed about this, as it was so unexpected that he didn't try to book a spot on our schedule right away, but appreciated that he really upped our DIY plumbing knowledge first. We did, in the end, schedule with him, and they did an excellent job on the work we needed done in our aging home.
