Have been using Cavanaugh for a number of years. Always reliable, always sent great workers to do the jobs needed. UNTIL this last time. The job was quoted with a cost that could go up as much as $200, which was fine. The job was done and the bill was double what the upper number was. The reason given was that they had to go back and forth a number of times and charged $110 per hour for the extra trips including travel time (blamed it also on gas prices) FYI. we live 20 min from Sheffiled.

Jsut be careful is you use them, get a written estimate first!!!!! This is no way to treat customers when you have been in business so many years.

My toilet stopped working in the evening on Labor Day.
I called Jim Cavanaugh and he had a Plumber at my house at 8am the next day.
A very nice young man came and fixed the toilet in 15mins. He wore a mask and was very professional. Cavanaugh MT Inc-Mechanical Contractor Plumbing
does far more than just Plumbing. They completely installed my brand new gas stove. They fixed my Sink when it was leaking. Everything they have done for me has been done perfectly and finished the sameday.
They are the very best in Berkshire County.

We have been dealing with MT Cavanaugh for years. Their organization is as professional as they come. Employees up and down the line are courteous, prompt and a pleasure to interact with. They arrive when they say they will, do the job right the first time and leave the place looking as though they were never there (except for the new equipment that is).
