Kat and her assistant arrived promptly and were very professional. They found the source of my leak quickly. Unfortunately, the source stems from my fridge, so she could not help me repair that problem. She referred me to a company that has multiple poor reviews on Yelp (I think she might have had a good experience with them and they are close to my house). My four out of five star rating stems from the receptionist not informing me of the $125 diagnostic fee upfront. $125 for a 20 min diagnosis doesn't sit well and it's worth losing a star in an overall positive experience.

This was my first experience with this plumber and it was top notch. Kat and her assistant fixed my bathtub faucet leak and they were very professional and efficient. They kept me in the loop about everything. They were clean and quiet, I had a baby sleeping in the next room! I felt the job they did was done with integrity and expertise. Polite, on time and did the job in as little time as possible - awesome!

After two other plumbers failed to show, I called M. Cary & Daughters. They worked around my schedule and Kat came out the following morning. She fixed my leak, reconfigured the pipes, gave me more space under my sink, and kept the area perfectly clean the whole time. She quoted the actual amount I was billed right up front, got in and out, and saved me a bundle with a quick fix on a separate problem while she was at it. I've never liked a plumber well enough to call twice--until now!

These ladies are amazing! We had a leak on the back of our house, thought we were in real trouble, they came and took a look and it turned out only to be a fitting that we just couldn't get tight enough. They didn't charge us a dime and now we haev them helping us install a new bathroom. Honest and dependable

They charged $215 for a simple 20 minute drain unclog. They are way too expensive in my book. If you have to use them, be sure to ask the price first. I feel like paying $600 an hour is way out of line

He has been very professional, friendly, polite and very helpful. Since he's on the front-line of service, he represents the company in an extremely positive manner. M Cary's plumbers were professional, polite, and did not try to """"schmooze"""" me; they are expensive. This is a really good option if money is not a constraint for you. I had a simple problem (two leaking bath taps) that I was willing to spend a few hundred fixing; the bill came closer to $1000. If there's one thing I should have learned from other reviewers: ASK ABOUT BILLING BEFORE SERVICE. There was ALSO an incident that makes me feel unsettled: the two taps were easy washer fixes (pricey at $400 for labor and washers), but in the repair process a completely different part of my plumbing suddenly """"became"""" broken. I had never had any problems with this aspect of my plumbing before and it had nothing to do with my service call, but once it broke I was forced to have another, more complicated repair on the spot - not doing so would have left me without water. The technicians claimed that it was old, about-to-go-anyway, etc. Maybe this is true. It sounded like a certain amount of violence was used on the tap before it broke, but I don't honestly know, so I can't say. But there's something about new things breaking while the experts are there that just doesn't make you feel good.. All in all, I will probably not call this company again, even though I feel confident in the end they did fix everything well. They were both highly competent and courteous. But from the shock of my family, friends and neighbors, I think I may have paid a bit too much.

I was told they would come after 2 PM on the date we scheduled. Then, on the morning of the appointment, the plumber called and said she was going to be in the neighborhood and would be coming earlier (this was at 10 AM). If I was home, that would have been great! But I wasn't home, and wasn't planning on being home until 2:00. She told me she did not want to come back later since she was already nearby. And then she told me there is no way of telling when they would arrive, and made it seem like I was crazy they had given me any time estimate at all when I made the appointment. I had to call another plumber. How annoying.

I would not call these guys based on my experience with them. I had a sewer backup problem and called several plumbers for quotes. M Cary and Daughters showed up without calling first to let me know when they were coming, and proceeded to quote two options that were priced literally DOUBLE what I ended up paying. Do your homework and don't just hand over your money.
