I send a request message for a service on yelp and Lyons plumbing was so swift with answers and were readily available to come over to access the issue. Mind you i sent the request on Saturday.

Dan was quick to respond to my Yelp quote request on the day after July 4th, a Sunday. The water heater in my rental house had sprung a leak and made a big mess right when my poor tenants were moving in. The quote was in line with other numbers I was offered and he could get to the work on Monday so I scheduled with him then.

He and his crew showed up in the agreed upon window, unfortunately I was in the basement and didn't hear them knocking, but once I let them in it was a quick diagnosis, some draining and hauling out the old tank. In came the new tank and an up-to-code gas shut off was installed too. They all appeared competent and were professional throughout the job. The price was exactly as quoted. I would definitely hire them again.

I had a leak from the bathtub and I determined it's the joint between the drain opening and the pipe, but I don't have the tool to fix it myself. Upon responding to my Yelp request on July 4th, Dan looked at the pictures I sent him and patiently listened to me. After much discussion he would let me order a part from Amazon at half the price from the plumbing supply house.

Today his guy Mark showed up and got the job done in less than half an hour, with great efficiency and thoroughness. Shall I also say the price was very reasonable? I really appreciate Dan's honesty and professionalism. I would recommend Lyon's to my friends around the area.

Moved in to a new house and discovered the toilet was wobbly and leaking within the first day or so. Actually posted a plumbing request on Yelp to another plumbing service, but Lyons responded first, and after checking their reviews decided to go with them. Mark, one of their master plumbers, came out the next day, identified the problem, and fixed it for us in about 30 minutes, as well as gave us some general plumbing advice. We're very happy with the professionalism and quality of Lyons plumbing, and they will be our go-to for all our future plumbing needs. Thanks, Mark!

Realized my kitchen faucet had a leak when I went under the cabinet. Water running free and your house don't mix well! I went right to Yelp! to do the standard operation of putting out word to 4-5 well-reviewed plumbers and see what I could get. Lyons Plumbing got back to me quickly. Dan Lyons got on the phone and we talked through the issue. He's the owner - not an office scheduler - so an immediate, productive conversation (unlike with a lot of the big companies). Sent a couple pictures and a description of what was going on, then was able to have a faucet ready to install for his guy. Plumber arrived right within his two-hour time window and knocked it out quickly and professionally. Saved a couple hundred dollars over another estimate I received. Update Note: My new, Moen faucet had a manufacturing defect - another small leak! Even though it wasn't really their issue, I reached back out to Lyons Plumbing. He had one of his guys stop by a couple days later for a re-install... no charge. It's not how you make money as a plumbing company, but it is definitely how you get satisfied customers and repeat business!

A+++ all the way. Had a clogged kitchen sink and contacted Don. Within minutes he wrote back with price and said he would send someone out later that day. Kevin arrived mid day with positive, can-do attitude, quickly snaked drain, and checked out everything, cleaned up and was on his way. Same price I was quoted, which was less than I found with others. They were responsive, polite, on time and speedy. Said they would come back if any problems when I ran dishwasher. No problems at all, everything works great. Thank you Lyons Plumbing, highly recommend.

The valves to our washing machine were leaking in a very big way - created a big mess - Lyons was great. They jumped on FaceTime with us, diagnosed the problem and were out in a short period of time on a Saturday afternoon to help us. Can't say enough good things about how happy we were with their service, responsiveness, and just plain great customer service. I needed a plumber for a new leak I had. I contacted Lyons Plumbing and they replied quickly. I was able to give a brief description of problem and they said they could repair. They were very quick and responsive to all my questions and especially very professional.

I was informed that the leak was from an old faucet and the brand would send a replacement. Again Lyons Plumbing informed me of this. How honest is that, not trying to sell a part. I cannot day enough on how great they are.

When they came to work on the leak they were on time. A quick review of the issue was discussed. The issue was resolved and part was installed. They noticed another issue and resolved that by replacing the catch inside of the sink which had been worn out and leaking as well.

In all this company is honest and professional. I recommend them to anyone looking to have a plumbing job done.

Imagine having your worst nightmare come true: a contractor that walks off a job and leaves you with a busted shower system that doesn't work and you have nowhere to turn. I had three plumbers come to our house who refused to do the work to finish off our home renovation and was getting anxious. Enter Lyons Plumbing, who saved the day!

For starters, Mark B.--the world's BEST plumber--walked into our bathroom and took one look at the system that the contractor left and said ""HOW did they do this--it's not up to code. They installed a new shower system on your external wall and knowingly didn't put in insulation! These were not professionals!"" Mark and Dan proposed a proper fix, which meant we had to take down the tile and move our shower plumbing BACK to its original position. Lyons partnered with Watson Squared Interiors, our tile team, to get rid of the faulty system and helped us land on a new tower system that exceeds our needs.

From start to finish, Dan Lyons and Mark B. explained what needed to be done and made sure they were here to complete their portion of the install. Dan went the extra mile to document the issues for us as I'm taking the other contractors to court. His write up will help us recoup the losses! Mark B. worked his magic on site and the shower now runs without issues and works great.

Dan and Mark represent the best on home contractors. They're trustworthy, reasonable, honest and personable--everything the other vendor was not! I can't think of calling anyone else from now on when I have a plumbing issue.

There are bad plumbers, there are good plumbers and then there are superheroes like Lyons Plumbing. Hire them--they are nothing short of terrific!
