I was contacted by Andrew of Lynden Sheet Metal (LSM) for a bid on replacement of a gas heater & installment of an air-conditioning unit. Andrew came and gave me a fair bid with excellent products (American Standard). I had many other HVAC companies come to my home to submit a bid, so I had experience of viewing many bidders. LSM were excellent to deal with from the heating installer Jeremiah, to the air-conditioning installer Taylor and their electrician Brad. All did outstanding work, and all were punctual and left our home without any issues. I also had an Accu-Clean filtration devise added. I scheduled the work to be done with Luke, which started and ending when he said they would. Luke was also excellent to work with. I did my homework on many companies & choose LSM. I am totally happy with their service work and products & would highly recommend them!!

My furnace went out on the weekend. Called LSM and they sent their tech Eric out to help get my furnace running again. Eric was awesome! Very helpful and worked quickly! Outstanding customer serrvices and was easy to talk to. He didn't try to sell me on something I didn't need. I will definitely be using them in the future for other repairs or upgrading my furnace! After calling the main three hearing companies in Whatcom county, Lynden sheet metals quote was significantly less and there was no charge for the estimate. They did excellent work and they were were perfectionists. I would highly recommend them for all of your heating, cooling and plumbing work. We are now happy and and warm again in Birch Bay.

I had a power outage at the company I work for and Matt went above and beyond to help me. He kept in contact with me and even offered to go pick up a generator for me if I needed him to. I had a furnace and water tank installed 11 months ago. They have since been out for repairs ranging from bellies in the line they missed but wanted to honor and be honest about that they caught in a re visit.... which I can appreciate. A few other return visits flagged inspections for condensate exit lines which needed repair on a second trip. They also replaced some bigger diameter piping the estimator didn't see that would best suit the code for diameter piping. Again appreciate the free work but not the hassle. They will come out and repair all their mistakes but why are there so many mistakes.I'm experiencing flooding again and am hoping hey are good for their fourth repair. I went with these guys originally because they had free estimates after I got steamed I paid Barron heating 95$ for them to tell me my furnace was broke. The flooding for those who know plumbing because my exposed pea trap is the same water level as my kitchen sink thus causing the surge of water to exit in my furnace room. I guess I could hold off to review after I see if you guys come out but I don't care at this point I've done so much clean up grey water and food particulates in my place of business I'm fuming. and leg work on Do not read their pre screened website reviews of course your website will be custom fake reviews while yelp reviews are the honest consumers.

We just had our Furnace, AC, hot water tank and our gas fireplace serviced for the winter. Mark from LSM was so knowledgeable, thorough and a delight to work with. We will definitely use LSM again. We are very satisfied!

Not at all happy with this company.
Would not recommend them. The Phone Receptionist were abrupt and rude, on each of the 3 occasions I had to call.
The guys that came out knew what they were doing and were very nice. They did not reflect the attitude of the office staff. But they were not able to get the job completed before we received a HUGE bill.
The Job still isn't completed after what has now been going on for more than 3 weeks because they were unable to get the part locally. We were told after they receive the part they need to complete the job we would receive a second bill.
I Am very upset and sorry I ever contacted them.

I reciently bought a house in Lynden. As with any 20 year old house, it needed some improvements. LSM helped place heat pumps for me. Great job done, under budget and ahead of the cold weather.
Earlier this month my water heater died, one call to LSM and they had me back in business the same day. Very professional and helpful. Can't go wrong with a local firm.

We recently put a new stove hood in our new house because whoever lived here before installed an over the stove microwave and left out a vent pipe. We got a fairly good one with the hopes of someday getting a bigger better gas range. The vent required an 8 inch pipe running straight up through the ceiling and roof. I got everything installed then ran into a problem, our furnace's gas line was right in the way so it had to be re-routed. We got an estimate from a plumber to re-route the line but it was really expensive so Shawn got a second estimate with Lynden Sheet Metal. Their estimate was a lot less but we would have to wait 2 months and we did. The guy came and rerouted it and left and when we got the bill a few weeks later it was for almost as much as the first plumber had quoted us. I was shocked and furious and called them to ask why the bill was so much higher than the guy had quoted me, and they said it was because the installer had to make a parts run. I said that it's not okay to just charge someone several hundred dollars more than they said they would, but they will not budge. This is an absolutely dishonest and ridiculous way of doing business and I told them so. Not even a sorry! Needless to say, we will not be doing business with Lynden Sheet Metal ever again. We had gotten an estimate from them to have our ducts cleaned, nope, we'll go with another company, we will need a whole new furnace in a few years, nope, we'll go with someone else because we will not do business with a dishonest company, local or not!
